When I watch SC, I am Arshi Desai , one of the Desais and standing in the room with them.

So last night, from the moment when kalika called every one to the mandir and announced the good news, through the whole peecha karna, through the whole hunger strike, through the blisters on feet,

it was senseless

And if in 22 minutes with them,I end up saying ,"don't be stupid " 22 times, even to Saras who is usually not as stupid as the others, it was a BAD episode

So here's my take on last nights episode

Why my family was extra stupid last night - by Arshi Desai

1. If miss xyz of pados has seen Kumud, I could first talk to her, get more info.

2. If on day 1 everyone is ok with first graduate of ratnanagri being away for 2 days, on day 2 why panic, if she is at the station

3. Since everyone is panicking, why go on hunger strike and challenge the God, why not challenge

Saras instead who is clearly in touch with the missing girl

4. Why does kusum the local girl who grew up in austerity have blisters on her feet by walking up and down the street a couple of times?

5. Why doesn't Saras take the car when he went looking for Kumud

6. The biggest and the worst thing of all - if a girl has attempted triple suicide in as many months,

And the last attempt was a couple of days ago, which unlike the previous 2, was premeditated,

And also put at risk, her sister, who could have died too, why is it still being treated like a cute zid

Since the episode wanted to establish 3 things -

1. Kalika is suspicious

2. Dukhba joins the gang

3. Kusum is relying on Danny (?)

There could have been a more logical way of doing that, than a hunger strike and chase sequence.

I agree with every last word you've written down, but for the past few weeks I have been watching the show as Shrija Winget-Rode😉 It hurts me to admit but yes, I have become one of those viewers that drool over the leads and some sensational scenes that come out of the blue (Kumud's walk back distraught, Mandhir scene, Apple feeding, Rose petals falling) now and then. Otherwise this show has nothing left in it in terms of story, logic or delivery from fringe actors. The Desais, I don't even want to talk about!

If we're to dig deeper for logic, Saras leaving his BFF Sunny in the dark for months on is also highly uncharacteristic of him...oh I have many, many more in my list. It's just endless

Regarding the rumors, if Jenny's leaving (after her contract completes), this show is done for me at least. Getting used to an actor playing a character is one thing, but in my opinion no other actor can do justice to Kumud. Sames goes for GR too.

Thats why, all I hope is that if Jen wants to leave then saras and kumud should come together and the story ends, rather than drag on with a new lead, who we will be continuously comparing with Jen

well the only other way of watching the show is by being a vyas and not a desai 😆

i wish to see some catch the mouse game...where saras tries his best to hide kumud while kalika and kusum r on spree to find kumud red handed with saras.


it would be fun and we can expect some ipk type romance...
