For that matter she is dazzling these days. Yesterday's silent 'Sindoor recoup' was quite affective- matching GR's 'sindoor shower' intensity of just a few seconds earlier. I confess, she is holding point for me. She never cease to amaze...(an important point. She is holding her forte even against a hostile and weak script, where her character is greatly compromised)..
...but till date, my all time favourite one personally, is 'potter wheel' scene. Till this date, it strikes me upright. Every aspects there fell in to an effortless rhapsody...creating a rare beauty under a divine BG...so much, it goaded me to write down a windy impression. And still I stand by it...

P.s.
Shrija, Here is link to those impressions...jotted on its first impression...😳

Wow! Seems like Jenny has stole the show today! She is brilliant!! Every emotion, every moment, every screen presence she has justified to the core! We always say Gautam lives, breathes, sleeps, walks saras but it would be no misconception to say Jenny does all the same for Kumud!'

Samarth! Thanks for sharing.."Night Visions" perfectly apt title and it really made me relive that scene through your unmitigated rendition. (I hardly re-watch episodes and in these initial ones, I had skipped or FF'd many scenes in a frenzied haste to pick up with the pace of the show in August). 👏

Regarding Jennifer, she never ceases to amaze, in Monday's episode you could see her distended lower eyelids due to all the (glycerin-induced) incessant crying that her character requires...and yet she makes it look so effortless and undemanding. Virtuosity, professionalism? Take your pick =) Suffice to say, she's on par with GR in delivery and performance. Kudos to her😛 I'm a fan!

EDIT: In today's show, her every move, her profile and matching gait with the gorgeously designed chaniya choli, she exuded the aura of a woman smitten with 'innocent' love (that's the hallmark of their relationship) Only a man who was considering becoming a renunciate could have 'controlled' himself like SC did😆

Smrth & Happy-

Yes...This was a great scene..Thx smrth for calling this out.

And you are right...when watching yesterday's scene, then the apple one, the sindoor one...one is momentarily transported back to the time when this show was still a breath of fresh air...the lead chemistry sizzled and crackled...the just right context mesmerised and enticed us to board the bus and join in the story of this magic kingdom called RN and its prince & princess...

I think the current effect also has to do with the director and the BG score which is coming in at just the right moment!

As I have mentioned earlier too..The first 100 odd episodes are a treasure...a legacy I will continue to hold on to for my lifetime!

BTW
our favorite is still the saras moving hair away from her face scene at the start of the gau hatya track...coz that's how it had happened the first time with dear wife when she was not yet dear wife...like I said...this show used to conjure Magic then! 😳😳

Basmati ya saada. And Saras says 'sikka uchal ke decide kar le' something like that. A relief it was to hear the boys talking in that casual tone. Otherwise he is always pacifying madamji or is the obedient son of desais ever ready at their duty.
Liked that face of saras. He is battle-weary now.

Yes Shrija, only a 'Sanyasi' in training could withstand...😆

JW had her share of censure. Right or wrong, I am not being judgmental. But her work is under recognised. It's a fact. As I said, she has an impedimental script to cope with- artificial, tvt aligned stereotype. And yet she is doing her best.
My pick- Four scenes, besides many other gems, mark the progression of tale; 1) Internet 'anger' 2) Potter wheel 3) Pond scene, where she explains her version of love and then invites bangle adornment 4) Sindoor against Radha-Krishna idol...
There are quite a few others too, like fIrst Arti scene (manmohana), Kuldevi Havan or majestic Wednesday ( Ghav bhi aise...tears I can not shed...poem and her 'rise' from the 'dead') episodes...but these four remain turning point JW renditions..All four equally rendered by GR...they forced posts out of me- generally I avoid, for laziness in answering...👏

P.s. Sharing one more...over their first Internet encounter...you were not there in the forum then, right?
