Lotus!

Mere a thought soothes the nerves.

The day broke rough. Nothing was falling right; Neither the chore undertaken, nor the people underwritten. It was a tough lesson that running corporate world or its intricacies does not count a dime, if only a potter's wheel was allowed to produce the one. Perhaps not much notable, except that the failure keeps a destitute family, including a soulful child, out of a crumb of bread. So much for my flagrant bravado to keep them sustained...

But gloom seems to evaporate at your mere arrival. You came and dispersed the hope. Fed them. Pulled them back into some order, sending the child to his school. Even wind comes from nowhere to play with your glorious tresses. Than who am I- a mere mortal?

But then it was puzzling, how you will make the promises work? Put the wheel on track? But then be gone to your school!

Again, nothing ticks; the wheel refuses to cooperate, quashing hopes to a nought. Much as one strives, coax it-cajole it, nothing turns shapely. And that dread- their next day's bread...But then...

Kumud!,

Mere your thought infuses a soothe.

A soft sparkling jingle, signature of your presence, even in fantasy they calm the hackneyed nerves. Swirling hairs and radiant face, even tuneless sound of wheel fades into background. But what is this? How come everything starts falling in place? A complete Harmony? Wheel is dancing perfect now? And there...a soft spread of petals over my rough, tired fingers? Oh! You are here in person! No wonder, the wheel now spins magic and turns in agreement. All is now right!

If you are there, besides me. I can create a dream; a beautiful world full of hope and angel children. The demons of the past would get dispelled forever- my guardian angel! If only you would always be besides me!

Wind scene is much talked about. And It was beautifully done. But so was the evening scene... The minimal words and emotions alive. Mesmerising BG – and surreal frames...superb execution...what a beauty!!😊😊

Perhaps not much notable, except that the failure keeps a destitute family, including a soulful child, out of a crumb of bread. So much for my flagrant bravado to keep them sustained...It is that very thought that keeps him going...the soul that sustains on the good deeds he did today, like the body sustains on food water and air...the feeling of having done something for somebody, a need to connect to that need and fulfilling it...something extraordinary satisfying in that...

But gloom seems to evaporate at your mere arrival. You came and dispersed the hope. Fed them. Pulled them back into some order, sending the child to his school. Even wind comes from nowhere to play with your glorious tresses. Than who am I- a mere mortal? Wonderfully worded...it is indeed Saras thought and heart that is reflected in this post of yours...Though I personally think that he envied the tresses on her face..he so loves to see her face and anything interfering is his enemy..

But then it was puzzling, how you will make the promises work? Put the wheel on track? But then be gone to your school!

You are here in person! No wonder, the wheel now spins magic and turns in agreement. All is now right! It is like life is back on track...the balance in the world restored..the goodness intact and suddenly this universe is a beautiful place to be...nothing in this world can infuriate me, turn me off or anger me when you are there like an oasis in the desert...the oasis that surrounds me and makes me completely bereft of the feeling of the existence of that desert around me...

If you are there, besides me. I can create a dream; a beautiful world full of hope and angel children. The demons of the past would get dispelled forever- my guardian angel! If only you would always be besides me!

That's Capital. Srushti. You are spot on the Ghost movie analogy, even in denial.👍🏼...and what a scene that was! Demi, her ethereal elfin beauty, just like Audrey Hepburn.🤪And she was potter only in the movie. The scene was so sensual!!...☺️Unchained melody in the jukebox and Patrick came there trailing a scent. The way their mating consort began from her twirling fingers on the wet clay, gradually progressing into their entwined rhythm😳...and her fingers so sensually exploring his bare torso...can't embed that link here perhaps😳...get reported otherwise😆
Ok embedding the substitute, for I love that theme, originally from 50s, I suppose.
And Srushti, all your reflections are worth their while. It's a pleasure to go through them.

Nice post very well written.

I like Saras way more than kumud. I still find her bit arrogant at times.

Kahan ghost or mahan SC? The scene did not come close to Demi & Patrick. Though I loved Saras's expressions.

That scene was certainly a a new one atleast for the Indian audience who watched English movies...because pottery was not considered as a creative hobby...it was a profession to some people and it was limited to them..but I guess DM changed that...I am not a big fan of hers..though I loved her in Few Good men..but that was a different movie altogether...It is interesting both her movie references did have a Hindi remake and neither made a good impact on the box office...Though I would say 'Shaurya' (The remake of Few Good men) was certainly a good attempt with good actors...I would dare not say anything about the 'Ghosts' remake🤢

Hello Dabulls, ( may I call you Varshaji ?)😊
Again a pleasure to see you here. How is Kool...Has Archu found any sense? Or no PR?😆
And mam, forgive me.😛 I'll yet say, Kumud was equally brilliant.😆
