On Monday, if Kumud comes to know the truth, then Kusum is in for a shock with the reactions of Saras n Kumud. And there will be change of plan. My gut feeling.
Iss Pramad is irritating me no end apart from Kusum.
The way she said that she also cant do a sacrifice. That one-sided lust, she calls it sacrifice.
And Pramad is trying to tie Kumud into a deep mess with his words. He openly said he didnt want to divorce her. He is becoming nauseating to watch.

Reaction of Kumud and Saras - Saras's reaction will be as expected, it's Kumud whose reaction I am

interested in seeing, for it is she who often takes these weird decisions and completely disregards the

feelings of Saras when the mahaanta bhoot possesses her.

I would really really like Guniyals words to come true, that when it comes to her man, Kumud will be a woman first and fight for him, and everything else will be secondary.

The problem is Kumud has to decide on her priorities and not take Saras for granted, and we don't really get that confidence from her.

So three things that are bothering :

1. Kumud's tendency to completely overlook Saras's feelings when it comes to her duty, family etc

2. Kusums utter self absorption on this issue - she is not been realizing that what she is doing is selfishness and not sacrifice

3. Saras's complete love and devotion to Kumud and his guilt at having ditched her once

Of course things in favor are there too:

1. Saras never does what Kumud wants him to, he does whatever he feels is right

2. His complete and unwavering love for Kumud, he has shown complete consistency in this always

3. He knows Danny loves kusum, he is not breaking Danny's heart ever

4. He has never ever thought of or treated kusum as anything but a sister, the idea would be repulsive to him, and I want to see that repulsion, because kusum needs to see that repulsion,

She needs to see that she and Saras cannot be because Saras doesn't love her, all the rest comes after that. Her dreams of happily ever after are built on mutual love, and the feelings are not reciprocated, period.

That obnoxious jerk, murderer, philanderer, free loader. Some one please consign him to his book fate ASAP. This fake 'remorse' act and perfidious selflessness are crap scenes of first order. Unfortunately his very present 😡 is staining their innocent love with an unfair stigma of an extra marital affair. Not done. Adding to this fatuous plot, actor's overact, slow motion tears are now getting on nerves. Humbug. Is this a man on his way out?🤢...His coughs are actually making me want to puke. At present, he is overtaking 'Meera' in 'divinity' race. Some one please send these divines to their natural abode- Heaven's sake.

@ bold - very well said smrth and Kumud madam did not see this happening when she decided to have mercy on the monster.

Today she is forced to hide Saras in the closet and confine him to the back room, where he could have been joyfully beside her in every ritual taking the well deserved place of pride in the Desai family.

So true, Smrth!

And great catch there, revisiting Conscience vs Consciousness...😊

Bah! Reading the WU itself is becoming an exhausting affair these days🤢 Seriously, that character Kusum has been irredeemably decimated, now I'm wondering HOW in the world would anyone stop hating her? This is even atrocious to take up for the garden variety TRP aunty, isn't it? This fugliness can not be erased unless they 'write out' Kusum or not let her fantasy to come into limelight especially to Kumud and Saras. I just glimpsed the pre-cap and feel that it's misleading (fingers crossed).
Gunial's taken promise from Kumud that she wouldn't do anything 'rash' before she lets VC know about her 'misconception' (what a mommy!) and the solid evidence in paper that Kusum🤬 is pining away for Saras...what effect will they have on a possible revelation of this gory affair?!

The show CANNOT sustain if they get Sasum married for whatever effin' twisted reason or... am I just hoping?😕🤢

On that fateful day, we pounced on her for 'being' manipulated. We still are, perhaps with understandable indignation. Yours was one single objective post that permitted possibility of 'humane' capitulation. Whether Pramad was pulling an 'act' on her is a different argument. Whether she should have permitted such 'swindle'- second time on her- is also a plausible argument. But objectively, that moment, 'facts' as presented were these; he was dying as per doctors. He was dying as per symptoms. He was dying as per his history. As per profusion of blood. And she was badgered; 'a last wish of dying man'. How were she to react as per her 'characterisation'? Were she to disregard a least kindness? Not easy for a conscientious person, Arshi. Were they to persist their 'goal' that time, they might always have a scar on their conscientious minds. In case he indeed would have died without a grant of a 'dying man's last wish'. Their love could not be corporal and 'insensitive' as normal people. 'Heroes' are not 'permitted'.🤢...that's why this 'stranglehold' of conscience.
Now whether she permitted a 'dupe'...Well, after doctors, reports, hospital, blood etc. if cvs fling such horrible scenes as 'stone crushing', 'car driving', ubiquitous presence everywhere, it's us viewers who are duped.🤢

Perhaps His turn now, for a battle between 'conscience' and 'consciousness', when he would be yoked in. Conscientious priority of a 'marriage' or a very 'presence' that permeated every single corner of his consciousness- his love. Which could he prioritise? Incidentally, even G.m.t. was undecided on former. Let them and I will share.😳 Watch out.

Sorry to jump in. That act of kindness wad understood. What was hard to fathom was her masking of that act by calling it openly as a sacrifice for kusum's wedding. And blaming Saras for not being around at that time.

Very well said. I have the same thoughts on him. Its a torture to see that character. Adding yo what you said, there is that stretching of nostrils.

I wonder who likes this act of his.

Agree. It's a junk piece of script. Pompous and unnecessary...what is more, as Saras pointed out, she actually brought in very 'danger' inside. Even though it was VC's compulsion, objective responsibility is hers. She knew this and that's why 'teary' manipulation in last at punch bag, when everything else failed!😆

smrth-

I have objection ot this very premise put out in the show and entirely hate this pramad narrative...

Why is everyone forgeting that this 'dying man' is not any ordinary man...he is a person who has betrayed her (his affair with kalika), tortured her (beatings, forcing alcohol), beat her, tried to kill her...

When kumud left his home, after suffering all of the above, she had burnt her bridges...she got him arrested IN PUBLIC and applied for divorce...Finito...

The earlier kumud cared two hoots about social propriety...he first allegience was always to her perspective...she was a law unto herself...she went to great lengths to stick to her stand and prove others wrong ...the saras dare, the gau hatya, the fight with VC, the skirmishes with gumaan, even her marriage to pramad and later her decision to stick it out...

So this about turn is pure killing of the character...this 'humane' treatment is just to add trp masala in the narrative...while still being trp aligned...

Its like sau choohe khaakar bilee haj ko chali...why should the past be forgiven and self-torture suffered because this a@@h@le now feels 'repentent'?... also if he was not dying, would he be this repentent?...

p.s.
Its like kasab suddenly feels repentent and people send him on a world tour before he dies...cause hey...he's repentent now and he's gonna die...so lets act humanely...

Sorry...Accounts need to be settled in this life only... He deserves his punishment for his misdeeds in full...only then does he qualify any kindness...and if he dies before that ...Well that's too bad for him then,...

Edit:
..And isn't this just another form of torment by him?...Then why should she put up with it?...

And justifying this regressive narrative on the grounds of kusum's marriage breaking down is just the pits...By this logic, she should continue to remain married...coz after marriage if she divorces, then kusum apne sasural mein badnaam hogi...And where do you stop?...After he is dead too, if she remarries then also kusum might get badnaam in her sasural!

sick!!
