This show has now become a very interesting case of hubris by the new writer and how it will cause a downfall...


TVTs have started to fall again!!
SC is back at #13 / #14 slot
The only time they got up in recent times were when there was a hope of a saras-kumud getting together...

At least the previous creatives were more sensitive to viewer responses...and tried to quickly change tracks which were not working...which used to manifest in a yo-yo effect...

I am amazed to see how dense, full of themselves and blind the current creative lot is...by not seeing the writing on the wall (falling TVTs)...even if they want to disregard fan feedback (GH approach)...

I guess now they would have got some extension...they have nothing to lose...

There is a bankruptcy of ideas, utter disregard for the legacy of the character and total disdain for the viewer...

This is just someone trying to encash his fixed and confirmed paycheck for the next few months...in the laziest manner possible...just rehash situations from other trp serials...Easy Weasy!

Hey Hgg hi there, agree. Even tvt are not agreeing.😆 But 'end game' is there to stay. Already seeing lots of miscreant dots arranging themselves towards its final rundown. Key dot is already on its assigned course, nudging Kusum and all towards her covetous course..question is, how are they saving? Any logical salvage? For salvage there ought to be. Let us not forget 'morals and ethics' of the Soap saga!😆PMS is an irrefutable 'fact' here.😉😆

Good to see you back again...

I stopped watching because it was becoming unbearable, experiencing the:
(i) illogic (e.g. Kalika's 'convenient' marriage)
(ii) twisting of well-loved events from the past in 'retelling' the new position ( FBs)
(iii) total twisting of character positions (this was the cruelest cut...Kumud, Guniyal, DB, VC, Kusum, Kumari... all gone and new versions out!)
(iv) complete TRP/TVT alignment...the corollary of which was that the link to the source was now in name only...utterly more illogic

If we shift our frame of reference to the complete TRP/TVT alignment...then the current status is completely logical...no matter how paradoxial it sounds... but then we are speaking of the TRP/TVT alternate universe! ...which is something out of the Twilight Zone 😉...

In this universe...

1) Samud is the multi-crore whale for SP & SH...
- it now prevents the SC TRP/TVT from falling significanlty lower...there is some sort of floor in place now...

Why a floor? Because no matter what...

a) there is now a residual loyal and addicted fan-base which will tune in to see Samud and be satisified along the lines of "Hayee I am dead...what shirt..what expressions...what eye-lock" etc... (not trying to be flippant...but such reactions express succintly the whole gamut of emotions / hooks)...

...this fan-base was interested largely only in the Hayee things even earlier when SLB was driving it...and even now looks at the Hayee things in all the muck...

They want Samud together in the end...and are willing to take anything as long as they get their little Samud fixes right till the end

b) Ppl who were there earlier for the context, the characters, the treatment have left...

c) but replenished in TVT / TRPs with new folk who are denizens of this Twilight Zone and identify with the new position...who dont particulary care about Samud...but get vicarious pleasure in Samud's continued agony...through their seperation, villain's chaal, kusum's antics etc...

They are here for this ride...all trials and tribulations cutting into Samud

So Net Net due to Samud >>> (a) - (b) + (c) = New Viewer Level = Old Viewer Level (more or less) = Same Relative TRP/TVT ranking at #13 / #14 position

2) IPK2 is at #23 / #24...way too low...
So they are left with Samud...unless a new show comes along...

I heard that SC has now got an extension...even with a relative TRP/TVT ranking same as when SLB was running the show...Obviously!

3) Life then becomes so easy for SC Creative...keep Samud whale alive and it will earn ad revenues...

- Samud ensures TRP/TVT at mimimum level...
- Twilight Zone antics provide a TRP/TVT top-up...

4) Ergo... No link to Source...it simply does not matter anymore...

5) Consequently, after the divorce crap...there will be other ways to keep Samud seperate in order to keep pumping #3 above...

- Towards that Kalika will be the agent...she has metamorphed into the quintessential TRP/TVT super vamp / villian who is the smartest cookie around...always manipulating everyone, churning chaals...most of which almost succeed...yet foiled in the end (to keep the game running), sometimes getting caught...yet smartly escaping...

This placement was done in typical Twilight Zone fashion...instant marriage to Yash...who has again conveniently disappeared...the new Yash is a side-actor...the old Yash is out...Ergo, Yash is a vehicle for the primary villian Kalika to get placed...

- Kalika will push different buttons...now its Kusum...then who knows...Khoti Kaki, Yash, BD, Kumari, VC, DB, Guniyal...all are now game...and will be taken up one by one to keep Samud away...

- Even Kumud is par for course...imagine a scenario of Kumud getting remorseful, guilty due to Pramad reform (we have an easy 15 - 20 days of antics here when she looks after an ill Pramad) / Pramad death then Kusum engagement break-off due to Pramad death / Kumud getting blamed, Kumud as widow, Kalika saying saras & kusum also had a thing...etc. etc.

I strongly feel...they will come very very dangerously close to a saras - kusum formal link-up...it is just to delicious to pass up...
- (a) group will desperately tune-in everyday to see a glimmer of hope / the 'samud in pathos' scenes
- (c) group from Twilight Zone will tune-in everyday to gloat over the samud comeuppence...marvel at kalika's chaals, applaud (or groan) when the chaal fails...look forward to new chaal...

So yes...completely agree...the dots are definitely getting aligned for the 'end game'...it is coming in full force...

...They may not push it fully through...

And yet...

If the 'end game' does get closed...the Twilight Zone actually offers more opportunities to extend the life of the Samud whale...

Imagine Group (a) now tuning in even more desperately to catch their precious moments and hoping these two will come in together...Group (c) will be happy too...cause now it will be a Kumud as protaganist churning her chaals to expose kusum / kalika...

I am the unfortunate Group (b) ...was a part of Group (a) when it made sense...

So I have opted out...Twilight Zone does not suit me...😉

Wrong time to reprise? Watched two back to back episodes, some fill ins from in house watches after that beautiful Payal scene in hospital- Saraswati's Payal clasping two of them beautifully aligned and bonded, as well, it more than compensates immorally confiscated Kamarband.

Coming from 'source' watch, disliked most of the content but these few. And though not taking up, would be more exposed for a snoop- how this wreck is taking up the 'end game'. For the 'end game' is sure shot to 'prolong'- God knows how torturously long and stretched. Bear me.
