I am a SaMud enthusiast but answering here with a non-partisan standpoint:
Frankly, the current ex-lovers(?) Vs Hubby track is a soporific snoozefest despite the strategic insertion of 'cute' scenes to appease a certain faction of SC fandom. I also kinda-sorta would have welcomed a possible Sasum ending if they'd been loyal to the original. Sadly, that didn't happen. Under the current scenario, Kusum's character looks like she's en route to marching in there and obliterating all the trust-build up and sacrifices made by the lead pair(whether that'd happen is a different story!) which is downright unfair and malicious, if you ask me. I'd have to say the same if somebody just like that tries to barge in to test their luck. So that's a strict no-no. I haven't watched today's(yesterday's) episode yet; going by the WU, looks like she's made some wise quote about Saras-Kumud rishta. I'd be happy if they'd maintained her consistency and not made her utter contradictory, non sequitur statements. Also get her not to give those 'drunk nun on LSD' kind of looks.
But today, I literally barfed on my breakfast sandwich after looking at the sad plight of this show! Seriously, a desecration of a great literature work! Long live writers and their 'mightier than sword" pens🤢
