Mentioned this scenario in last week CB and got a lot of feedback to the contrary...

But unfortunately it looks like we are moving along the scenario that I had indicated was entirely plausible...scary but plausible...

It has nothing to do with the story, but entirely with SP attempting to do the politically correct thing for a show it has given up on (if ending in Dec)...

- Under Nayi Soch bunkum it will allow a wife to leave the marriage...
- But no matter how right her reasons for leaving she is not allowed to enjoy her freedom because that goes against its core TRP audience...bad patis have to be reformed or suffered and not kicked out...
- she can only enjoy her freedom if it gets sanction of elders especially of her in-laws...In any other scenario she must be made to suffer for her choice...again under the Nayi Soch bumkum it will show the suffering in a subtle way...like not being able to live the rest of her life with an ex-flame...
- Here Kumud seems to have burnt her bridges with BD & SD...so that's probably not coming
- So Pramad is dying, but someone will bear the cross ...

- Most likely during this school thing...
- This silly school thing is taking a life of its own...a freaking albatross around the necks of saras & kumud...The juvenile antics will only be upped by Pramad & its counters by Saras/Kumud...

Now
1) Kumud wants to get this set up because it was Saras dream and its money has gone to save the Desai haveli
2) Saras wants this because it was his dream and because Kumud wants it.
3) So now it either gets set-up with all hunky-dory with Saras & Kumud...
Or
4) One of the 2 gets embroiled (e.g. kills Pramad, gets blamed for Pramad's death)...in which case the other person will rush forward to take the blame on himself / herself
5) And the remaining one will spend the rest of his / her life nurturing it..

In the end of the novel...Saras & Kusum spent the rest of their lives in a model village caring for the poor...In the modern setting its this damn school...This is where it is going to end for Saras.

So Kusum is getting activated...

- In the end if Saras & Kusum need to end up together, the choice has to be 'baked' properly...which is all this Kusum bhakti thing...so it does still fit the Nayi Soch bumkum criteria...Kusum may end up with Saras due to some regressive reasoning...but she will not seem to be coerced into it (Nayi Soch!)..

- And Kusum will behave like Meera (all mental and no physical)..

The ONLY way this can work out is if Kusum takes the blame and allows Saras & Kumud to carry-on...So I am still hoping against hope that this is what all the Meera reference markers are all about...

But showing that option will go against the very fibre of SPs natural tendencies...

So lets see,..

And getting really tired of the silly school track now...Waiting for someone to conk off now...
- Like RN is so pathetic and small a place it still does not have a High School. And yet it has people of some level of economic class that just by donations they are able to buy a piece of land which is already marked up by 20% due to Pramad's offer. ... the price of which is equal to a pickle jar full of 100 & 500 rupee notes!...

- Kalika roams around freely everywhere in RN and people don't mind.

- Pramad ...he who was in jail and yet did not sign the divorce papers...now is expected to sign the papers on the basis of these stupid bets arounf who came first!

And to think that this shit is going to be the anchor track for the finale!
What a let down.

Trust Ivy is well now...Would have liked to read her take on the sensibilities around these developments.

@ bold - Its no secret that I find the sibling love angle revolting. I was hoping the CVs had more sense than to go down that path here especially since they had deviated a lot from the novel.

One has no control over one's heart so Kusum can not help but fall in love with Saras - 🤢🤢 I am not buying this. I would prefer watching saas-wohu shows.

I think its time for me to call it quits, I mean watching... will be visiting the CB ofcourse😳

There are plenty of other mindless watch it and forget it type shows I can waste my time on😳

The fact that Guiniyal has sensed the Kusum nonsense is actually good...She is the only one in Desaii family who knows about SAmUD PMS...No mom will and should allow that puke worthy nauseating scenario to be realized...

I was about say the same thing about school becoming a huge thing for them.

My doomsday prediction is similar but slightly different.

Kumud will say to Saras," look we could not make it together in life. And I have raised enough storms by walking out of marriage. Look at Kusum. She has lot of 'Bhakti' for you. She will be an ideal partner. Move on with her. and tumhe meri kasam".

Then Kumud will settle as the principal of that school as she has those 'payal' of saras's mom and believes in fulfilling his dreams.

But hope I am wrong.
