My dimag ki batti is really dim at night, and for last night i cannot even blame Saras/GR... who was quite innocuous yesterday compared to the Wednesday epi...š
I have been puzzled about why they shot that market-scene like that, with no eye contact between the two leads? While it is fairly obvious that Saras doesnt want Kumud to read his face, why was Kumud looking everywhere else but at him during that convo? Was that a marriage proposal, btw or a business partnership "Be my Bodyguard?!" - ruk jao, hamesha ke liye... main nayi zindagi shuru karne wali hun, tum mera saath dena... š The CV's intent if any, ws not clear. And why ws Kumd mumbling her way through that convo, after first reducing us to pulp with her letter to Saras. However, looking back at the way the show started... there were two parallels. First, the letter. Then that famous-wala VC convo, I mean the video conference where Madamji turned her back to him...Saras wrote to her to say No, now she writes back to say that it has always been a Yes! (They just need to get the timing right..šso 1,2,3...say Yes together)In the video-convo, she ws upset with him because he wasnt brave enough to come and say No directly... Last night, she ws upset that he never asks her if she needs him or not, but takes unilateral decisions about stayng or leaving!...š²I know what I am upset about - the CV's Kusum track - our main pair of dobos make it convoluted enough for themselves, without any help from third party, so there is no need for a third angle to look longingly at Hero and sigh deeply while looking away...
Happy - forgive me someone has already mentioned this. I am just making my way thru CB now.
I understood Kumud's hesitation to look at him due to them
Being in a public place. I too don't understand why CVs chose the market.the terrace or where those big windows are in the house wudve been more appropriate but perhaps cos looking into each other's eyes wudnt have been appropriate. There is still that hadd.
The mumbling was cos she cudnt say all this loudly infront of the public. At one point where she says where were you then! She does turn and look a him only to realise that pple are staring!! Why I don't understand! Kya the whole village every person on the street knows them? On lookers staring at the actors always bothers me as it kills the whole scene from having that complete real feel.
I don't think kumud and Saras will ever be able to express their feelings while looking into each other's eyes or even at one another. Those moments have gone. When I was watching samud scenes yday night, it's when I realised how much I really do miss them
Being together! Gazing into each other's eyes, Saras touching Kumud's face. They were different people then.
