I have been puzzled about why they shot that market-scene like that, with no eye contact between the two leads? While it is fairly obvious that Saras doesnt want Kumud to read his face, why was Kumud looking everywhere else but at him during that convo? Was that a marriage proposal, btw or a business partnership "Be my Bodyguard?!" - ruk jao, hamesha ke liye... main nayi zindagi shuru karne wali hun, tum mera saath dena... 😆 The CV's intent if any, ws not clear. And why ws Kumd mumbling her way through that convo, after first reducing us to pulp with her letter to Saras.

However, looking back at the way the show started... there were two parallels. First, the letter. Then that famous-wala VC convo, I mean the video conference where Madamji turned her back to him...

Saras wrote to her to say No, now she writes back to say that it has always been a Yes! (They just need to get the timing right..😆so 1,2,3...say Yes together)

In the video-convo, she ws upset with him because he wasnt brave enough to come and say No directly... Last night, she ws upset that he never asks her if she needs him or not, but takes unilateral decisions about stayng or leaving!...😲

I know what I am upset about - the CV's Kusum track - our main pair of dobos make it convoluted enough for themselves, without any help from third party, so there is no need for a third angle to look longingly at Hero and sigh deeply while looking away...

the market scene worked for me happy for kumud has always been this way with him. She wants him but naak in the air always. The kind of girl who will always act uncaring because she carez too much.

and again she was right. She has to tell him if she decides something but he chooses to leave or stay acc to his decision.

Back to back episodes with great content, great script, camera, editing and above all the TWOSOME made merry again😊Today's epi made me remember many of the golden scenes from SLB days for the first time.. in a long while. Also got all my answers about Kumud.

Kumud's forthrightness hitherto subdued was back and how! She really can't beat around the bush when it comes to addressing his wounds. It all started with that letter; oh she's so good at expressing herself through letters, she's done it before; had explained her stance about the PMS night so beautifully and now again today. I tip my hat off, writers!

The conversation in the marketplace was so similar to that of what they had right after he had returned from jail, at the mandir. That's when she had breached through his citadel; his mental predisposition that "disaster strikes the ones I love" and she'd very nearly quelled it by saying "Rishton se shikhayat kyun, apne aap se kyun nahi?" And today, he was slowly and surely falling into that abyss of absurdity and K sensed it, rubbished it with sensible talk and admitted she needs him; only that can stop him from leaving! So well played, K. Your clairvoyance amazes me.

The terrace scene was sooo neatly done! Back to her demanding ways; the want to get what she rightfully deserves😊 Kusum, in your face😆

An appeal:
Able writers of this forum, please explain the allegory employed in the terrace scene and the parallel editing between that and P burning the divorce papers . I usually correlate from what little Hindi I know of and the written update to come to conclusions but the WU didn't dwell into that scene at all

Edit: Here's my interpretation, now that S has decided to stay and she's at home literally and figuratively, she wouldn't give an eff even if P doesn't comply and that he's sure to burn in hell?

The market scene worked quite well, Arshi, I have no problems with it... It just bothered me why it ws shot the way it was...😛 Kumud said her lines like she ws totally distracted with her shopping, not saying the most important words in her life. Attitude! hmmm... and I thought she ws older and wiser now..😕

kumud = nakhra esp where dobo is concerned

That was why, main tumhare bina mar nahi jaaongi

mujhe tumhari zaroorat nahi hai etc etc type attictude

while andar hi andar, she knows she cant live without him

She forced herself to be a rock in her captivity,

in freedom she is scared to fly, and needs him around as much to give her stability

but before that we will be tortured to hell by this crappy triangle...coz even now saras has warmed up to kusum and feels that she is a good friend and understands his love for kumud

I have also noticed the understanding between these two, may lead to problem in the future if Kumud catches Kusum with her languorous looks at Saras.

She doesnt know that prammy is burning her dreams to ashes, she is the bird healed, unentangled and ready to fly with freedom.
on the other hand prammy is burning fown her hopes and Saras is promising to restore them

Great posts everyone :)

I think Vaish is right. Widowhood is 99% on the cards...was dropped a hint by a certain source so that will be a highly likely twist.
