Arshi ji, your poem is brilliant as per usual! 👏 Lekin aaj, I would like to give my own interpretation. 😊
Disclaimer up front, because I know there will be plenty misinterpretations once I publish this, I am not bashing Kumud, nor Jenny... I am criticizing the way her character and this track are being written. Very different to bashing for the sake of it.
I actually agree with Toni here... And what she means is that the track has been ridiculous from the start... it's just the overwhelming encouragement for the new track (TRPs have increased, and so has Pramad and Aanshul's fan following) that's encouraging this ridiculousness.
So far, Kumud's choices have been typical to what I have heard in my own Indo-Canadian community. Sudhaar the violent, abusive, manipulative pati all on your own and suffer in silence to please the in-laws... I've grown up listening to stories and seeing the physical, mental, emotional, psychological effects of a violent relationship on people I know... even people I love. (Literally, I've been hearing about this crap since as long as I can remember. I remember even having horrid nightmares about the extent of what I'd hear between "adult conversations" as a child.) It's absolutely ridiculous to be on such a track in the first place... Because I sure as hell don't know anyone who's been able to sudhaar an abusive relationship without intensive rehabilitation or counselling (which includes proper intervention by elders... so far BD and SD haven't been doing a bang on job with that... SD even told Kumud to keep mum about all she bears.. great track!)
The logic behind her choices of getting Prammy to listen to her through more information about Saras have been wrong too (referring to the CVs... where in the world are your brains???)... How does talking about your ex-mangetar help your relationship with your abusive and emotionally unstable husband? According to the spoiler, and to real life, it's making things worse...
SP needs to show something that's consistent with KKumud's character... If they're going to show such inconsistent-to-before-consistency like this, then the reactions will be the way they are... Quality is diminishing, and nobody is getting taught anything beneficial... and when I say I would like to see something consistent to KKumud's character, I mean the one we were shown on February 25th, 2013 (I seriously don't know who this new Kumi is... not at all a BA graduate to me... if she was smart, she'd know she needs help with her situation) and if they aren't doing that, then I'm sorry to be the one bearing the news, it was just a matter of time an MR track would come up.
However, Toni, Sona666, and anyone else who's mentioned this are right, in my opinion. This show is about Saraswatichandra. And if his character is doing more bad than good in the show where he's supposed to be the hero... with the way everything's being crapped on (himself, first in line,) he might as well move onto something else... because nothing's changing on KKumud's part as far as I can see.
The way the track has been going since mid-August (I'll be lenient... as far as I think, everything after Kumud's marriage has been confusing and rushed) has been enough to cause alarm and distaste within viewers. And I think something as extreme as MR was inevitable... The only way CVs can sudhaar their inadequate writing is if they handle this track correctly (if they actually show it) rather than doing what they did last time... which was to incompetently write and deliver the PMS track.
