Hi Arshi, very nice post as usual and also a good episode. I think Saras gave away the answer today, when he said that food is made for Pramad as he does not like spicy food. This was blurted out in moment of anger. Also another thing is, his bag might contain Passport, which might have his identity. Also the other payal of his mom. May be that is the reason Cv' showed her wearing the anklet the other day. Why Saras is not careful enough specially after the kamarband episode.. Also what I don't understand is, kanaka had spotted this kamarband prior, much prior to kusum's arrival, while cleaning his room one day. But how did she make the connection? And why did she believe kusum when she said that it belonged to her? Also since when is naveenchandra a confidante for Pramad that he is asking him to find the details. Why he is confident that Naveen will not tell all this to his Dad? Looks like truth is about to come out on wednedsday...

Arshi... what a very crisp synthesis of Saras and Pramad's semi face-off today. 👏

The way you plotted out each character and the storyline today was fabulous. Congratulations 😳

And now for the episode... First of all, I would like to give a standing ovation to Aanshul Trivedi and Gautam Rode today. Really, the way these two played off each other... This IS the epitome of acting. Well, well done. 👏

Although the CVs have hacked our beloved Saras to pieces with his new image of a punching bag rather than a main protagonist, I have to say, Gautam Rode's still carrying off the dignified aura of Saraswatichandra well. 👏 The way he stands, the way he looks so somber and carries out responsibilities (referring to the scene where Saras tells Pramad to eat, as it's not good to drink on an empty stomach.)

What saddens me is that he's the Saras of February to me yet again... back to square one, but perhaps much more damaged, lost, lonely, and miserable... Not to mention the way he's now getting blows on every plane too... 🤢

Today's episode really did emphasize upon the held-back intelligence of Pramad and Kalika... these two are sniffing for some leads, and it looks like they're going to go to any extent to find a few clues... Indeed, these two are dangerous... and the future tracks seem to be pointing red flashing lights toward these two... it'l be interesting to see what they have in store for us... I'm falling off the edge of my seat in anticipation 😆

Question of the day has also been disturbing me quite a bit too.. Then I thought, Kusum probably kept mum for the sake of her didi... For sure, if the Desai's found out that Saras was in the same household as Kumud, a great calamity would arrive upon both families. Kusum's finally using her noggin. I like it! 😆

One thing that's finally disturbing me as it is for many... A humble request to the CVs to NOT hack Saras' character further. It's hard enough as it is to watch him suffer so much... he is indeed a victim of the harshest circumstances... and it would be nice to see them do something dignified to such a dignified protagonist. Such a character does not need to be hurt so much if he is going to be bound by kasmein vaade. Common CVs... what are you doing??? 🤢

Just read the makhan anaylsis on previous CB.

Here's what I feel.

There is no tradition of makhan khilana to husband, and that is not what Saubhagya Devis point was.

I think it was about accepting Pramaad as the one in her life.

Being the Rukmini to Pramaad's Kanha,

Radha was often the jealous possessive lover, resenting even the murali that kanha plyaed

Rukmini on the other hand was above all this.

She as his wife, was confident of her position and was accepting of Krishna and the multiple

women in his life, and was respected and admired, she was an able queen to the Lord Krishna

where as Radha was his bachpan ka pyar

Kalika is being every inch the jealous radha, and Mrs BD wants Kumud to be the Rukmini

Yesterday she talked about when kalika first went to Pramaad's room- her choice of words was very suggestive, as if she knew exactly how kalika had soothed pramaad.

Little does she know that its the struggle -

Kumuds wants Pramaad to be her Krishna, and she wants to be his Rukmini

That is possible only if pramaad stops drinking, Kumud is clear about that

Right now, for her Kanha is Saras and she is more like the Meera, married to one yet pining for Kanha

That was what the epr was about

The talaash of the real Krishna!!!

Saras wants to guide Pramaad to the right path, and he was driving the chariot, like saarthi- dressed in blue, so many clues of Saras being Krishna

Pramaad is also searching for the truth, focused on machli aankh - saras kaun hai?

She clearly used the word parampara suggesting it was a ritual. Time n again kumud showed her resolve to SD about accepting Pramad. Then why this insistence on date? Even if cvs intention is what u said, it didn't come out as that to me.

Rukmini was a very radical for those times. She loved Krishna since she was a young girl and eloped to marry him. She wrote a letter asking him to take her away from her wedding to shishupala.

Trying to say that Rukmini was totally in love with Krishna before she saw him and hers was a choice.

Arshi, very beautiful analysis of the metaphor - yes, even I felt that Kumud's MIl want her to accept Pramad as her husband. Kumud is ready to accept provided he is not drunk, but what about the fact that he has illicit relationship with Kanika? Cannot think of Kanika as Radha though, even she is manipulating him. Also pramad is no Kanha...But totally understand what you mentioned in your post. Must say, you are such a wonderful writer.

I have couple of questions...why did Pramad go to town? What work did he have? Is Kanika the only one in his life? Or is he beyond repair? Another thing was the food...just by the look of it, Saras mentioned that it was spicy and hence not for him and hence never ate it. What if it was really what he likes, but not spicy. It was just the appearance that made the bharm(illusion) that it was spicy. Did he give up before he tried it? Or Is it just illusion that Kumud who thought of him being hungry, since she saw him get up from table w.o eating, she cld not be that insensitive that she will pack only spicy food...I have a feeling that Saras mistook it to be spicy and thought that food was not meant for him...indirectly meaning that Kumud was not him? I am not sure, if I am over analyzing that seen...but he has given away a big clue to Pramad...but will he be able to catch it ? Again your analysis of Saras being real Kanha giving guidance to Pramad was beautiful...but will Pramad be able to become Parth(Arjun of Mahabharat) or will be duryodhan? Only time will tell...

True Santhi the parallel is a very loose one. Kumud has been insisting that it was her choice. Anx even now he will be her love and her huband. But for sharaab. I detected a promise there. Repugnnanat as it sounds they two women were hel bent on crowning pramaad as the krishna whereas he has no qualities to be that.

What a lovely interpretation of khana. Nandy just discusssed this point with me about how did he know food was spicy. And your calling it bhram - wow. That is what it was abt. The whole epi. SD and kumud's bhram that pramaad can bethe one. And denial of saras being the one.

Pramaad also wants to know saras kaun hai. Becos thru that he will know that saras is the son to his parents in the form of navin and love of

kumud.

Another parallel bd and sd are like nand and yashoda .

Loose parallels yes but parallels still

Pramad is up to no good and neither are SD and Kumud. Today scaled the heights of 'imposition'. Also, as downright riveting the 'dance' of the sober drunk and the intoxicated teetotaler was, reserving my analysis proper, till tomorrow. Still holding on for something to click...
