In bet'n, for me, Jenny again 11/10. And not for 'bahot rona dhonaa'...but for showing- or at least 'trying to show'- what those 25/50 cuts (out of 1000 waiting her) are all about! Your questions 'why she is 'taking' all those suffering?' Well, as per the story so far, they ought to be forwarded to three perpetrators; her exalted S, VC and BD.
And an additional small question to Saras. Does he even suspect what those 20-50-1000 cuts are actually all about? What is tearing her apart? He seems intent on apology and 'self atonement' part...but is he aware?- its Not Pramad, it's her own conscience? And this partly answers your questions, 'how or where would she escape from herself?'
At least that is how it was put in the story and well, that is how it is appearing to me here...I might be wrong. For, my empathy quotient is running little low for decent, 'suffering' boy at the moment. Though I suspect he too may soon realise. My empathy cup would be overflowing by then.
Did she want to hurt him? I don't think so Smrth, but she wants to him see her pain, she wants to lash
out at him, not to hurt him but to bare her heart to him, IMO..
Yes indeed these 3 will always be her gunahgars, Saras now realises it and VC later will realize, BD - maybe not!
I agree with you on Saras still not knowing the full impact of what he is putting Kumud through, he is
looking at easing his conscious, an apology that will give her closure so that she can move on. He
thinks he will be at peace if she forgives him, little realizing that there is no where for her to go, neither forward, nor back!
Tumhari Kumud mar chuki hai, par iss Kumud to abhi jeena hai - does she want to punish herself for
his mistake? Or is it because she simply doesn't care about her own fate?
And my empathy is for Kumud not Saras. She is not in a position to walk away, he is, yet he chooses
to stay, kuch pal ke liye Meri Kumud ban jao - he still doesn't see that there's no turning the clock
back!
