Very confusing situation Reemz. Because in life both scenarios are possible - children turn out bad inspite of the best of upbringing.

And children developing emotional and behavioral issues because of poor parenting,.

what is the case with pramaad - maybe a combination of both

a son who was a "trouble" child, and a problem aggravated by parents - one over demanding, the other over indulgent. Due to their conflicting parenting styles and lack of common understanding on how to bring up their son, pramaad could have retreated further into the grey zone.

While pramaad may always have been a bad one, his mother's blindness to his affair with kalika and his fathers insulting behavior point to the possible causes that may have compounded pramaad's behavior .

reemz...

while I agree on the overall premise...for the show, we don't know the whole picture yet.

..its like the chicken & egg question...did the alcoholic create BD's disdain or did BD's disdain create the alcoholic?...Did BD have too high expectations from Pramad, who could not measure up causing him to belittle him types? ...Or he was like that only??...

Did Alak have something to do with this attitude?

Right now it seems he's anti-kumud mainly because his dad got her married to him and he's anti-dad...all his resentment against his dad is being channeled on kumud...

So too early to say...and the reason I wish their back story was developed further...

Not to say I support Pramad...but curious to know the reason for his behavior..

The back story will build a case for sympathy, but the real judgement of pramaad will come from his future course of action. Is the one who attempted to kill Kumud? Will he continue to humiliate her and blame her? Then irrespective of his past, there will be no sympathy for him.

But a pramaad on the path to redemption who becomes kumuds friend will be quickly forgiven!

Just saw that they have started the repeat telecast of Saraswatichandra on STAR UTSAV ... 3.30 PM in the afternoon and at 9.00 Pm at night . 😊

so we can watch those glorious initial episodes agin on TV ... i shall be watching for sure cause i had missed the first few months on TV ...
Aaahh...Those early episodes ...what Beauty ... what Romance ... such freshness ...how we miss them ...Siiigghhh...

Thanks Twila,
...Would love looking forward to another chapter waiting in line. SLB has a powerful phase available to sweep his magical brush. Sundar Giri reunion is so potent, if he decides to land his 'might' there. Even if he 'adapt' them in RN Haweli only, Saras should have all chances and resources to redeem all those colours which were snatched from her in dead of a white. Each stroke could match all hues of the dawn that was presented.

@Smrth ... You are most welcome . 😊
The " Re-Union "... Aaahhh...that is what we are all waiting for ... looking forward to ... and i really hope that SLB himself gives some time and attention to conceiving the scenes for that phase ... atleast we desesrve to get some magical moments from SLB himself in a SLB show... Waiting to see how Saras again fills her life with colours... as you have put it so beautifully . 😊 .
As to what he intends to do about the location ... that is a point of curiosity too...will he think of taking them to the mountains too to bring in that special romantic feel that is required for those sequences or not ... ..Well ... we can only wait and watch . 😊
But as per the story there is still a lot of pain that SAMUD have to undergo before they reach that happy phase ... Rightt ??...That phase is not coming anytime soon i guess ... we shall have to see a lot more of the family drama in the Buddhidhan household as of now .

It can be very damaging in the long run and its always better to walk away from such relationships!

Kumud is going to hurt her family far more by keeping quiet, there are so many wrong decisions that she is taking in her traumatized state!

I agree with u, to hide the truth is not at all a wise decision, one cannot stretch this kind of relationship in long run, (and what i have written is in the context of kumud's character and what she is thinking not my personal views on abusive marriage i agree with u what ever u saidšŸ‘šŸ¼) sooner or later Desai's will comes to know about the real picture and before they do anything, pramad may die but don't know how cvs move the story forward may be they keep pramad alive and show saras helping kumud to came out of this abusive marriage, we have to wait and watch.
