i agree that kumud could have waited, given herself time but she made a hasty decision, and a person does make such hasty decisions in anger..she feels rejected and humiliated, her family honor is at stake, can she afford to live the rest of her life hearing all bad things about her family! she herself can tolerate all the insult but never for her family..she has nothing to loose, so by marrying why not save family's honor!

if i was in her place i might have also gone for a rebound relationship which would have saved my family's honor and also it would have been a way to get back at my ex lover that if u have hurt me and rejected me i can find someone better than u without spending the rest of my life crying for u and waiting for someone who is not worthy of my love!
