Arshi,
I am curious. Will there be any 'ash collection' by Kumud?
In book, there is a similar scene. She burnt all letters she received from SC. She collects the ash in a bottle, writing a label on it- 'Hridayvidarak Bhasma' literally meaning- " heart-wrenching Ash'. Pramad used this label against her!🤢
Now here, in OTT mode, I see other use; Kumud throwing the ashes from dah sanskar on the last 'intruder' in her marriage- blood red Saras...🤢
I sincerely hope no such OTT. Kumud would be taken to task here in Forum..

@Bold - my thoughts exactly, but you have put it just perfectly...The symbolism of finality is what is scary and causes me to ponder if SLB is going 100% as per the novel..
Dugba-
More than regressed, she's caught in a dilemma...saras is the son she never had, the son of her best friend whom she had promised she would look after...all her buried motherly feelings resurfaced and took concrete form when saras was in RN...she certified / gave her personal guarantee on saras when he officially proposed...she encouraged their love to blossom...and now her son has caused heartbreak and ruin to her favorite daughter and by extension her family who gave her shelter from her bad marriage...and then add the unanswered questions...is saras like saraswati or like LN/Gumaan...was her judgement so wrong? ...did she bring on this calamity on kumud? ...whose side should she immediately take?... Her own personal esteem is at stake. That coupled with the repeat of LN experience with her daughter is amplifying her helplessness...the guilt wears heaviest on this tough lady...not an easy cross to bear ...

Friend, after showing something so momentous as the dah sanskar and the way it was shot, the Creatives need to bring back Saras-Kumud together with something that inspires viewer conviction, a damn good reason that does not undermine the importance of such a symbolic and spiritual ritual... Otherwise this week and the team's performance will be for naught! Because this felt like a no going back... Strike that. The way it was depicted. It was. So Kumud's character is at stake here.

@Bold I think you nailed it here...! I must confess that I am both catching up on initial episodes as well as watching the current ones as they air so my opinions may not be so well-formed. And Dugba is not an easy read at all... But you clarified her possible positions, very articulately.

Did she really do that ? I hope they don't follow it over here. Tripati did potray a very bold woman in Kumud at that time itself and SLB may need her to be more bolder for this generation. We seem to be seeing a good reflection of the novel recently which is good. But let us see how long SLB can hold the fort.

Woah! I'm astounded..I still don't understand why Tripati named the novel SC whereas Kumud seems to be the one around whom the story revolves mainly according to me! And I hope she doesn't throw that on him. It'll be heart-wrenching to see such a scene. And Seriously God hail Kumud if that happens..Forum is not going to spare her in that case 😆

If only they were that kind to us! ...
My guess is they are not i the business of being kind... They want the emotional blood and guts to be spilt on screen (like the daah sanskar)

@CB folk, have a look at this thread. It maybe a rumour but it speaks about SC ending precipitately/prematurely.

May explain the sudden increase in pace of events unfolding. Someone somewhere has their foot on the accelerator for sure, God knows why?

TB are not very reliable, they are known to sensationalize things through false rumors

@hotdogg,

Just caught up with the scene from Shakespeare in love, loved it!

But how would you connect it to Saras and Kumud? Help needed please
