^Sorry that wasn't aimed at you.

But its disheartening for other people in this forum when certain people go round in every topic stating how the makers want to end this show quickly. I'm waiting for Mandy to say something positive about the show.

I'm sure this big twist coming up will bring back the excitement and intensity which people want to see but writing the show off as a whole is unfair.

reemz, i will say something positive if i get to see the honesty in the scenes, and an honest effort by the whole team!

arshi, i am glad u have seen those two pakistani shows, they were indeed outstanding, and for sure they weighed more in quality than quantity..there were many others but they were not romantic shows..well, not rt place to discuss them all!

We would have excellent quality, a story that ends when it has run its course, enough episodes canned and enough time given to shoot each episode in off season, I am all for it! This will also avoid actor burnout.

100% agree...at least for the 'hatke' serials, which want to communicate something real...

I don't know if you follow Grey's Anatomy..

...in my opinion the lead pair of Meredith Grey & Derek Shepherd depicts absolutely the most magical, deep, intense physical & emotional chemistry I have ever seen at any time.

..imagine... the very first episode starts out with a no commitment one - night stand when Meredith is drunk, Derek (married but his marriage on the rocks) but they just have to be together ...their attraction for each other is that palpable...and then what a story these two weave!...and its so similar to SC...with Meredith suffering from very similar complexes just like saras and actually suicidal...and Derek bringing her back from her abyss only because of his love...its in its 9th season now...and because its a season format, the story has been handled so well...imagine Derek's now ex-wife and Meredith end up becoming good friends...and so many complications in their personal lives...last one going on with Meredith (married to Derek) unable to concieve and they deciding to adopt...because its a season format you can actually make a good show without any pressure...plus all the supporting cast have got their own tracks which too are substantial with their own stories... in the end you end up feeling for all of them!

...and the loyal audience will turn up if the product is good and they feel for these characters...

..someone has to take the risk...but who will bell the cat?

sorry if this turned out looking like a blurb for another show...but that show is my benchmark in awesomeness...SC looked like it was going there..unfortunately it looks like it will not...

completely agree hotdogg! ur points r always well balanced and well thought of..i also wish that sc should have maintained that quality of delivering episodes as it did in the beginning! now i do not know how it will all be revived!

@hgg

I am more of a crime show fan, but the genre is not the issue here, it's a tight script, leads and their chemistry and comfort level, might I point out my pehla pyaar here - Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon - though it too was towards its end going the Hindi serial way, mercifully it was brought to an end.

But the first eight months - it has to be seen for the chemistry between the leads, there too, Barun sobti, the male lead was not comfortable with intimate scenes and was candid enough to say it in a few interviews, but none of that was seen onscreen, his chemistry with sanaya, their intense passionate scenes were superlative till the end, and to date the best I have ever seen.

A love story where the leads don't look comfortable with each other - no go!

thank you Arshi! that is all i have to say..and also as smrth mentioned the number of episodes should be predefined and pre written, and not on the spot compromising with the quality..and of course the comfort level has to be there!

Oh what passion and intensity it started out with! Initially physical contact between them was not a problem, infact there were quite a few close scenes, and then suddenly we had a no touch policy, and now it has deteriorated to physical discomfort in each others presence - bad bad sign Mandy

it was a dreamy episode...so so romantic...they had KC sequence just to show how much saras kumud r in each others skin ...and already married before marriage

but then precape took my breath away ...i know twist is necessary but taking it is really difficult...its like a sour medicine very well needed for future more better story cum romance
