ha ha ha...I loved your post than today's episode. It is totally dragging..yes 4/10.

Seriously, I think all those articles re KSG and Jenny issue with romance scene...is visible in this week's episode. It was visible in last weeks episode too but I thought it may be due to post PMS..and awkwardness. I wil tweet KSG, I am sure he won't respond...but will try :)

Saras and Kumud, behind the door scene...was it in two different frames?

I am really tired of Guman and her acting.

CVs wake up otherwise you will see people losing interest. I really wish CVs had set up some feedback forum...so that they can hear us before it is too late.

Harvardchandra has really sharp eyes. He could see the delicate designs of the jewelery from quite a distance😛

Ok, Nandy was being a meanie, sowwie CVs. That jewelery selection scene was kinda cute. It lacked the magic of other Samud scenes though. I liked the outfit Jen was wearing, nice colors.

The scene where Phookchandra pins Kumud behind the door ' a little awkward. Are they planning to show any romance before the separation? Things have just been a little less exciting since the PMS. If this continues, it will lend credibility to all the gossip unfortunately.
Like all men in desi soaps after they fall in love, Saras too has no work to do besides romance and listen to his wife/fiance/GF being taunted. 😕

Didnt the script writer who was writing for SC initially and left briefly for some reason return to the SC team recently? Dude, you need to pull up your socks. I am dreading TRP day now after last week and also worried about next week!

I realize this is not my thread , but can I still request members to PLEASE not bring in actor's personal lives into discussion here? ! Its an earnest request. I don't think CB is meant for that.. I visit this thread to be a part of discussion on the show and the characters, which can extend to actor's performances but certainly not to their personal lives. I don't find that enjoyable at all, sorry!

Arshi, your post is very apt. Sophisticated, explanatory... I really don't know what I just watched... I finally know what many were raging about... The Samud scene today was also less than mediocre.

Today was the first day ever that I actually skipped through an episode... it was too typical and unbearable, in my opinion. The exact things I poke fun at, the typical saas-bahu, sasur approval, sanskaar vs modern themes were being pushed today, and I feel like they had absolutely no significance toward the plot...

I think what bothered me the most, however, was the lack of symbolism, literary value today. Normally our show is on par with subtlety, but I couldn't find any subtlety present in any scene today. I feel, perhaps, that's a reason why I felt today's episode was very scattered.

Also, I'm wishing for better SaMud scenes. I will let this one go, as perhaps filming schedules didn't match vagera vagera... I'm nobody to judge.. but there is some magic missing to this jodi, and I hope to comes back steadfast! 😒

Looking forward to a steady climb back up... I have full hope for tomorrow's episode, and if not, I will again be optimistic about next week... Other than that, what an excellent, justifying CB today! 👏

Good point Kaadal, how come no one has told her this, if she, a nachaniya of Ratnanagri can turn sophisticate, why not a graduate teacher from the same village?

And LN, he treats her also like a trophy wife, is oblivious to what she is thinking, insults her again and again, no wonder she is so messed up.

That's what was worrying Hotdogg, is this the mandate given to the new director, did they get in a TRP meter expert, instead of a creative director?

A week more, if that is the road the story telling is going to take, then it will once and for all settle that TV TRP system is the biggest killer of creativity and nayi soch is just a slogan to peddle old stuff with a shiny new packaging.

All that kept us hooked on this show seemed abandoned today, and my faith in SLB to stay ahead of the TRP game is shaken.
