Thanks arshi, agree with your summary...sharing some impressions...

Today's sparklers:

Kumud. Jennifer. Kumud...a lovely tress and lovely dress.🤪

If four of 'five parents' were aware, why not VC? ( thought he wud say, I knew too)..
visibly downcast actor,ill? ( and an applause for work commitment)
Kusum, first thought, is she also replaced?
Somehow, didn't reach the height of some other episodes, somewhat contrived...

But quite good yet...😊

Guman was caught completely unaware

She was sure that she has damaged Saras irreparably !

Dugba Guman confrontation - it's being overdone now

Closure on senseless tracks over last few weeks..

1. What was that Gau hatya, criminalising it .. Really? Closed..entire track put the serial's TRP down.. Except Samud romance nothing worked there.
2. Ghuman mortgaging Indian Haveli from Dubai.. Closed.
3. Wicked sister of Ghuman ..what was her role? Seems to have closed her track.
4. Jewellery theft ? Ghuman! You are smarter than that!
5. Silly fight between friends.. Closed

Would like to see how this is going to turn out now.

1. 16 year old Kumari is being groomed by Police officer for marriage/kidnap? Desai household, stand up.

2. Danny was inHarvard. Why is he riding a bike in London? Again spending college fees on Europe trip? Explain..

Over and above,I still cannot understand, an astute businessman Laxminandan, How come he is putting up with treacherous Ghuman?

Kusum and Sunny seem to be liked by everybody, need a story track for them, individually or together perhaps.

All 3 k girls were extremely pretty and cheerful bubbly today.. Loved you..

All illogical tracks are now closed, ESP happy with the jewelry track was killed abruptly.

LN Guman - you can fool some people all the time, case here maybe

Kumari is 16, maybe that's why no one takes her seriously when talks of her own wedding

Danny in London, for now lets assume the more logical alternative - vacationing, maybe with our logic ki vaat

So looking forward to the story again

It was 10/10 for me. Saras lines were beautiful and well written. Straight from his heart, reason why he said no.

Even I don't like the fact that when a marriage proposal is broken, it is girls's fault.

I was happy to see Kusum calling him Jijaji again.

I wanted to see Saras proposing Kumud infront of everyone...even though he proposed her offline.

Drama to banta ha Boss, Drama nahie to SOAP bhie nahie.

Proposal was fantastic.. he said everything we wanted him to say..and how beautifully he said everything.. came out clean, plugged in all the gaps and closed all the loops..the reason for rejection, the infamous letter are all in the past.. the present is a happy life with Kumud.. how proud did LN look..notice how often he says mera beta these days.. Kumud was glowing in happiness.. Kumud pe shuru aur Kumud pe khatam-bold and ominous but promises eternity :)

New VC is kinda good.. Ironically, this one looks more like Dukhba's real brother than the old one.. lol though I miss Yatin Karyekar but this new actor has fitted in quite well .. he's subtle but effective..maybe not as emotive as Yatin jee..but I am looking forward to his scenes with Kumud to get a better idea.

P.S- Thank god Kusum has no choice but to call him jijaji now..

Congrats to all SaMudians!! Rishta pakka. Will the wedding happen? Defo not this time but i still have hope it will one day - that adhoori dastaan will b completed one day!!
Saras proposed, He let his heart take the reins and everything went well. Finally it was giid advice from Sunny - it is matters of the heart so stop thinking n speaks ur heart out!!
Filmy but i got sukoon just like Kumud got it!!😳 😆

I thought Gautam Rode did a great job today... Saras spoke from the heart, and his proposal literally traced his journey from Dubai to Ratnagiri like you did in your weekend post Arshi! Have you been moonlighting on the SC writers team ??😃

Yes, I loved the proposal

I am so glad that it was kept simple and a direct opening his heart kind of thing

sunny, love for giving this advice

And no dramatic declarations, just a straight forward explanation

Which they all deserved, after he had refused to marry Kumud

Superb dialogues here on the reason he rejected the proposal to his dad, VC and to everyone present, his fears and apprehensions, his journey of falling in love, of Kumud re-introducing him to life, acknowledging his love and desire to spend the rest of his life with Kumud. He held back nothing. Main Kumud se shuru aur Kumud pe khatam hona chahta hun. It was surreal and soothing. Rarely does one get to use the word, soothing, for a proposal.

Everyone was looking so gorgeous today. I guess yesterday's precap scene is from tomorrow's episode. I am glad it was not from today's. If Kumud's reaction in yesterday's precap was post intimacy, showing it today would have been too rushed. In SC style, they are focusing on relationship, conversations and not rushing to show the 'intimate scene'.

The Dukhba and Guman scene was necessary for TRPs, not to my taste. But there too Dukhba's and Guman's feelings and intentions were clarified to us once again.
Didn't they mention that Kumari is 16? How can she get married at that age?

I am missing our taklu. I was quick to welcome the new actor yesterday and give him a chance. But today, I honestly felt Yatin would have emoted better in the proposal scene. Anyway, its still early, only his second episode...

Gautam Rode was brilliant today.

Edit - most of the episode was Gautam's dialogues today, shot when he had fever and throat infection. Poor guy, he really was good today.

You know what , her izzat, maryada was what he upheld throughout

First he clarified that the rejection was not due to her

Then he acknowledged her role in making her love him

Then he asked for her hand, did not say that she too loved him

Did not say anything that could compromise her dignity

No flowery speeches

It really was very well done

Someone has put a lot of thought and intelligence in it

Yes, I too was missing taklu, while I know

We have to give time to this dad

He looked angry thruout,

Obviously to add drama,

But I kept thinking, you look angry

Because you don't know anything, you are new here

Our taklu would have been so happy!

Kumari 16, - just for that Chulbul needs to go to jail

I guess he is a real cop, becos she was shown going to the police station when Saras wasin jail

She is in for heart break, I feel very bad for her
