I agree, I am glad they showed Guniyal confront Saras instead of Dukhba.. not because it made sense because of Dukhba's state of mind right now.. but because she has been shown as a mother who is very much in tune with her daughter's feelings.. recall the time she encouraged her to help Saras complete his prayaschit.. But I don't feel like differentiating between her and Dukhba as real and pseudo mothers.. :) Dukhba played her part really well in talking sense to both Saras and Kumud in the past..

Hi,
Joining the conversation as a fresher.
I read a few crisp bytes
@Arshi, liked your logic ki vaat so far, but today... the question was asked to Kumud, has anyone proposed? ..how long is this chuppa chuppi? Make it official right?
But nagging Kumud is quite unlike her previous self assured self.
I do think, multiple scriptwriters for different episodes makes it disjointed like this.

@Smrth.. I liked your comparison to original novel, makes this forum interesting. I am unable to read Gujarati. A request though... Can you please write in shorter sentences, I can comprehend better.

@Infofan.. I like your in depth character analysis. Have you been literature student?

Thanks for making me enjoy the serial better.

By the way, this is the first ever daily seriall I have struck to. I would stick as long as logic and rationality are in place. If GT's novel has been influential in shaping entire generation of Gujarat, kuch to dum hai.

Indian audience will take up to modernity if presented well. Do not underestimate the audience please.
The TRP is picking up only because story is moving back to track, with some logic.

Some of Samud sequences are extraordinary, I wonder who is the scriptwriter for poolside dialogues?

But I am still happier with the fact that Dugba has made Kumari her pr iority and focus and Guniyal is intervening here, this is much better than a clueless Guman and a Dugba oblivious to her daughter

Arshi, she is still secure and knows he loves her but wants to seal it with a name. It must have triggered hearing Sejal talking about how she was asked by her would-be. She is still direct with Saras, asks him who am I to you, you haven't still proposed to me.

Exactly
Kumud is not a girl who will beat around the bush. That conversation just triggered that Saras never ever proposed like any normal guy would. N she just went and asked - who am i to u? In other words it is not enuf to put ur stamp on my hand. i want an official proposal. Kumud was not out of character. She is still the same Kumud who listens to her heart and who called him a coward when he rejected her by post, asked him what he meant by that tornado of emotions ...

May b some do have very high expectations from Kumud and didnt expect her to throw tantrums. I guess thats why it didnt work out for u.
Yes she did say , she needs some kjissa to boast about but was it really that?? For me it was nothing else just plain nokjhok/ silly tantrums very normal between lovers.N for me what didnt work out was her talk about "jealous-free"love she explained to Saras near the pool. They were beautiful lines and deep but kust so out of this world.
For me this "flawed" Kumud was a breath of fresh air! Saras shud realise that just him, his lady love has some expectations. N dont expect Saras to get it by himself. He is tubelight in this department like all men😆

agree..
arshi...notice the convo starts with her asking 'tum kaun ho mere'...the desire for a unique proposal comes as the last bit...as an icing on the cake...the cake being...come clean and clarify..

After reading this I remembered Oscar Wilde.

"To expect the unexpected shows a thoroughly modern intellect".
