Wouldn't they have zeroed in on some key passages during their research? For this was too close to believe a coincidence...Look at the elements; water, symbolic image, 'indelible' dialogue in previous episode...then actual etching of S by Saras. And then, Kumud absorbing the stamp reverently in front of Gods. The scene frozen at the end and repeated in next days opening...

Hope, they come up with a powerful sequence based on a passage showing other side of Equation; Her effect on Him.

I agree, it couldn't have been a coincidence. I am sure when the writers read the original work, they must have been greatly impacted by this passage and so kept it a part of the story.

Was the paane ki zid scene akin to what Saras feels for Kumud?

Can you also share the passage which describes what Saras feels for Kumud? Tripathiji has a wonderful mastery over words, and it will nice to know how he describes the feelings of Saras.
