note-please excuse me for my hinglish, as i love using it!
first of all i would like to start with the characters because the thing that i like about sc the most is actors ki acting! everyone is doing a fab job, sometimes a bit ott, but will let it go as on the whole their performance is kaabile taarif!
-saraswatichandra himself..very well played by GR..to start with, his complexities and confusions regarding kumud are well connected except for the love confession i found was bit rushed..the cvz can be excused for doing that because they were worried about the falling trps and wanted to start the love track asap..if the trps were ok we might have still got the continuation of love hate track with proper connection..i do not have much complaints here as far as acting and execution of the character goes, it seems more or less related to the old movie i watched, can't comment on the book as i have not read yet!
-kumud..well played by jennifer..a strong headed character with a mind of her own..opinionated..the good part of this character is its consistency..it has not changed with changing of tracks..it holds its values head high..the love for saras was always in her heart and it just needed a nod from the hero himself..to bas ab hamari heroine peeche hatne wali nahin..all in all a strong character, quite similar to nutan's in the movie but in its own way!
-VC..an emotional fool..impractical..keeps relations before money..well, in a way good but too good to be true..aaj kal aise loge kahan milte hain except kitabon aur kahanyon mein..well played by the actor again..gets little ott at times..maybe the director to blame more than the actor!
-LN..the business tycoon..a Casanova!..and what a pick..gumaan the sex goddess! kya personality hai..on the whole a shrewd businessman but good at heart!
-dugba..another very strong character..very well played by the actor..no wonder kumud is more of a reflection of her than her mother because she raised her! her character changed from being so rebellious to saras kumud rishta to accepting with open arms after knowing that saras is not what she thought would be and now she is all bent on bringing them together, and i am loving her for that!
-guniyal..a caring mother..protective towards her family..a perfect housewife..just like a seel gai, who absorbs everything until its time to attack the dushman with its tail and horns..that is how all mothers are, they will protect their children and family in whichever way they can..they will grow horns and sharpen their nails if need be! again well played by the actor, she also has a mother like personality..the love of a mother shows in her eyes!
-gumaan..last but not the least! how can she be forgotten..the vamp..the bad girl..hated by all..well played by monica except for the dance sequence..she should start taking some dance classes..her plannings are clever according to her but they always get backfired..not a very clever person, but with evil mind for sure..i thinks she is highly insecure personality, wants to divide and rule..wants everything to herself so that she does not have to go back to where she came from..hates her past and does not want anyone to take away her present from her..i feel pity on her..but she will continue to execute her evil plans and keep all the other characters on their toes!
-sunny, kumari and kussum are adorable! can't say much about them, all i can say is they bring smile on my face!
i am just discussing the main characters, hope i have not missed any..and now tracks ka post mortem..will come back for that..till then enjoy and pl comment!
now we come to tracks ka postmortem!
-lets start with the rishta track..the first episode was captivating, and whole thing of LN deciding for SC who to marry was well executed and started to draw everyone's attention..the pace was perfect..SC getting restless about kumud and then going to ratnagiri was a well thought idea..cute moments and then finally seeing each others' face was also well done..no complaints except for minor flaws which can be overlooked if the track is interesting and well executed!
-the next was the gau hatya track..kya hui sab audience bhaag gai! the track did not go well with so many of us..the trps started to fall..only samud scenes were captivating..story was not going anywhere except for saras and kumud's dating outside illa ben's hut..then they made gumaan's entry to speed up the track and make it more dramatic..nothing really picked up the trps fell further down!
-finally the cvz decided to do some changes..ended all the meaningless tracks that started..lets say the haveli track that was going to take off got chopped off.. .the cvz then decided to make the romance blossom and lighten the atmosphere by bringing the character of sunny, and also introduce kumari's chulbulpandey to make it more colorful, which not too many people liked, therefore he is a negative character now!
-now the love track has started which everyone was dreaming of!..beautiful well executed romantic scenes r shown that have the power to make one blush and give goose bumps..mind blowing! as a result the trps have started to rise..the pace of the show has picked up..the rushed tracks r now settling down..seems like the cvz have got hold of the pulse of the audience..will it continue to spell cast..lets see!
now my question is will this show keep its original story intact which somehow till now has been able to or will it go according to the trps? please express ur views, i personally would like the main story to stay intact, but will not mind the introduction of some meaningful and interesting tracks.
