Yes. And, he should ask. DB is over interfering in Kumud's life. Kumud has her own parents who can think for her. DB's own life is not managed well. Moreover, she is not paying attention to her own daughter and showering the love on her brother's daughter...

DB's over trusting nature on Kumud can spoil her and she can indulge into wrong acts...
