If Saras marrying someone is essential to the plot, he can marry someone who is not related to Kumud, even this Juhi will do. 😃 Later, his marriage does not work out, Kumud is widowed in the meantime. Samud meet again, rekindle their romance, marry and then live happily ever after. 😳 That will give a feeling of some hope, positivity and a more suitable contemporary modification of the novel IMHO.

@ Arshi, VC character is a little OTT but today Yatin was unconvincing. As you mentioned, it is the logic ki vaat script that was at fault here not the actors.

Also, its back to the logic ki vaat Haveli track. This track completely lacked logic from the beginning and it continues to do so.

Nandy, I haven't even thought anything about Saras marrying Kusum or these two getting united in the end. It is a long way to go, for now the current track itself is so loosely scripted it doesn't make us feel good.

I just logged in to see your rating. I was annoyed with some news I received in AZ right before the episode. I thought that news influenced the rating I gave to the episode. I was hoping that some post on the forum may help me look at it from a different perspective and change my opinion. This ain't helpin coz you rated it exactly what I did.

For the first time in the two months I have been watching and enjoying the show, I had trouble sitting through an episode... I am disappointed with today's episode, contrived, forced and some other unflattering words come to mind in describing it.

I am not looking for romance in every episode. I would like to watch a love story be a part of a good story overall. I was getting a little restless too like you wanting the story to move forward. So ... I dont even know what to say about today's episode. It was unsettling for me.

This is the TRP Saras. I did not like him shouting at Kumud. He has been mean to her in the past but today his shouting seemed out of character for me. Chalo, finally one episode I can delete from my DVR😆

I wonder, which guest would have manner to throw such a rude 'defiance' to twice his age host? (And to that host who had decency to keep him honoured as his guest, despite a 'reasonless' rejection to his daughter- after an unsolicited proposal)?
I wonder, which superior 'rejector now suitor' has the 'right' to shout out at a girl, in front of her own parents, in presence of her entire family and on the grounds of her own home?!
Cvs may well have already written heart wrenching, sincere apologies, powerfully enacted for future...just that 'disrespect' story gets overwritten at every turn.

On the other side? VC?! Is he for real?! There was remotely no such character in original. Had never liked this OTT adaption from the beginning. Not a patch on educated, deft and suave Viday Chatur- just as his name- of the original who was running kingdom of Ratnanagari as an able prime minister. Better they would have retained some essence of both parents, VC and Guniyal. So much for the original.

That is why i delayed responding to your post, just wanted to vent my anger first

Now I feel better, so lets analyse what happened today

Yes Guman has managed to strike a fight between the friends and the lovers, in one strike

I wish Kumud and saras instead of flipping, had acted as mediators

Actually I cant blame Saras, VC pushing LN was enough to upset any son

But Kaadal, VCs reaction - I cant understand, and nor do I understand Kumud and her completely

blind support,

Aur yeh chulbul - poor Kumari, she trusts the wrong guy

lets see where this fights leads to tomorrow, i think it will be sorted out and

the wedding track will start - bittoo is getting married, so lot of romance then again

Yes Guman managed to get them both. I was thinking they could have acted as mediators why then this. One maybe for TRP, rootna manana or to show Guman a way to use in future. Even I can't blame Saras, no one can see his father pushed around just for helping. VC seems to think his principles are the best & Guman knows it, so where else to hit. Kumud is blindly a papa's daughter, whatever he does is right for her & she is too impulsive like VC, act & then think about it. I have a bad feeling Guman is really going to take advantage of the father- daughter nature.
Yeah they will sort this fight out by Friday & then again Guman plans to split them. I don't know Arshi, anyway let us see TRP tomorrow.

Nandy and @smrth, as far as Saras anger was concerned, it was not out of character. He is a soft guy but gets angry when anyone hurts the people he holds dear. He shouted at Kumud and beated the guys because they were behaving badly with Kumud in the streets. Today his father was pushed and no son would like his father hurt, that too he has found his father's love recently so is more affected because of it. So that anger he showed at Kumud,. As of shouting in front of elders he is very comfortable in Kumud's home and almost seems to think this place as his own, shows his authority over Kumud when he needs so naturally anger too when she is supporting the person who hurted his dad.
VC & Guniyal, agree with you. I am getting confused with their characters, mainly VC's.. One day he seems to be a saint and the next a gawar. I would like to know how they were in the original.

@ Kaadal,
So being in character gives him right to dare his host? Being comfortable means capable of a roar? More confused, if he has this 'understandable' ejaculation out of a new found love for father, how does Kumud become 'impulsive' in checking his insolence to her father whom she does hold dearest from beginning, and not even a ' new found love'?

@ Kaadal - 🤗 keep it coming please for sake of @ bold, red above. I am not thinking or analyzing this episode anymore right now. I have never rated a SC episode so low. Your posts and maybe watching the episode later with a calm mind might change my views on it.

Regardless, the haveli track has always been absurd.

VC might be a host to him but that doesn't give VC the right to push his dad. He was upset that his dad has been unnecessarily hurt trying to help. When I said he is comfortable, it was to answer your question of how he can shout in front of the family. He did mistake the same like Kumud but that need not stop him showing his feelings even in front of everyone. He has been staying with them for sometime and thinks them as his own family now. His roar was more of a reaction to her feelings. Actually the roar and the comfort to roar in front of the family need not be mixed. People don't usually see much around when they are in anger. It happens on the spur of the moment.

I am not against Kumud supporting her father. I agree he didn't like his friend giving him money but that doesn't give him any right to push him off and behave badly since he has always has said you should respect your guests and all. Like I told Arshi, it is her immense love for dad that she will support him whatever the scenario may be. I think you are talking about my previous comment where I said Kumud is impulsive in nature. When I meant impulsive is her immediate response to anyone who talks rudely to her dad, irrespective of the scenario. She doesn't for a second think who is right or wrong. I can't get my mind on it but this is not the first time she did this, so again this time I had the same feeling. And even it is her nature, right or wrong why I was saying was Guman can use it to her advantage. She just needs to do something against VC & Kumud would go against the whole world for him. Hope I am making sense.

Nandy, even I didn't like the episode. Felt too out of place but just didn't think anything else rather than a filler episode. The haveli track has been absurd for me too, never understood the concept of it from beginning. All I understood was VC helped LN with money by taking loan and mortgaging the haveli, he doesn't want to take money back from LN, principles indeed so still pays the EMI for it. I am still not sure why the papers are with Guman & LN, unless it is something to do with the fact that VC pays the loan and it comes to LN through someone. Maybe LN bought the papers from the loaner and paid the whole sum and now the money which VC is sending he was trying to put it in a business in Kumud's name. Maybe he can't disclose to VC that he got the haveli papers as that would mean he paid the whole amount which VC wouldn't like. This is what I understood but I am hoping they clear it up for us when they open up this track.
