He knows why she is happy. There was an innocence in him today, enjoying the rain..a carefree boy in love with a girl, in love with life for the first time. Dukhbaa understands both of them, understood Sunny so why not her daughter ? I think she does but maybe because of her hubby is not ready to show it out. Let us see.

Kumud confesses her love and wants to hear him say it back. Precap is again the closure of the bedroom scene when she went to see him for the first time. I am waiting to see how it goes.

Today talked about mere apne

He who declared himself incapable of loving

Today describes his own feelings as a toofan

What next?

Why were Vidya and Gun so upset ?

So true man. The juxtaposition of the past and present is there- it's subtle but it's there and is hard to miss. I like how you pointed out the scene where Kumud had opened his old wounds the first time and he'd said 'jab pata nahi ki dard kitna gehra hai to dawa kya lagaogi' and now life has come to a full circle and he said 'dard ho raha hai par utna nahi, kyuki mujhe dawa milgaya hai' (maybe not accurate but sth along those lines), and the pre-cap like you said is a new dynamic to the same setting as well. The first time Kumud came to hear from the man who rejected her and tomorrow she wants to hear the acknowledgement from the same man.
