I've been noticing that Kumud sleeps in the same dresses she wears throughout the day. Wouldn't it be uncomfortable for her sleeping in that. Her skirts are flaring and big. I was just thinking that it'd be uncomfortable to sleep in an outfit like that and how come she doesn't have sleep attire.

PS-Not bashing Kumud or anything. I really love this show because of her character and Jenny is an awesome actress.

Just wondering if anyone else ever thought about this. My first post on this forum too so Hi everyone!

Hi! I never observed this but I think it is because of aesthetic reasons. Since we have many shots of Saras and Kumud during the night hence to make it visually appealing they dress up Kumud in ghagras/skirt rather than comfy clothes. 😊

Aditionally...in many rural homes in India...there is no concept of a seperate night dress...
people wear one dress for the whole day...focus is on rural...

there are cultural reasons..plus the fact that gujarat is traditionally a water scarce state...so why do you add to your water requirements by turning over 2 sets of clothes?...

forget rural homes...when my relatives who live in cities in Gujarat visit us...despite us stating that there is adequate water...they continue to wear same set of clothes for the whole day & night...

i have observed that not only kumud...most of the characters are in the same dress around night / next day morning..

..so would like to commend the art directors in capturing these nuances too..

lol coz she is heroine and should look tip top everytime...what if saras peeps in ,poor boy saras now he also has got kumud habit ...now he too sleeps in shirt and jeans...

...kumud ka koi bharosa nahi...kabhi bhi beecharey Saras ke kamrey me aa jati hai...specially when he sleeps jut to fan him and stare at him !!!lol

as some people said, not every person has separate night clothes!! they sleep in whatever they are wearing during the day!!
