Whose fault is it anyway?

Today, I left home to go and watch an SLB show,

lost my way and landed up in an Ekta Kapoor clone,

that too of the worst kind

So lets see in all this blame game that was going on

who is really at fault!

Vidya Chatur:

eek, itna melodrama?

What the hell was that

The way you were over reacting, it was as if your rishta had broken

Get a grip on yourself, and stop acting like a drama queen

My sympathies are with you, Guniyal and Kumud

seeing how he freaked out, no wonder you didn't want to tell him!

Guniyal:

You had the cheek to blame Saras?

It was your husband, your responsibility to not keep him in dark

What the hell did you expect?

So you still haven't learned that the best time to give a bad news is always right now

At the earliest!!

Whatever happened, happened because you and your daughter

chose to keep quiet about this affair

Saras is the outsider,

Kumud young and hot headed

You madam, are the mature experienced one here

You are supposed to understand your husband

And know the social pressures

Dhoop main baal safed kiye hain kya?

Kumud:

Darling, my heart bleeds for you

But you had it coming

You did mislead your dad, you know

Never through words or actions did you let him know the truth

So he was bound to be upset you know

In your defense, you are young and in love for the first time

And that clouded your judgement

And your dad is really hyper, wow!!!

Saras:

Though I felt that you were least at fault,

But here's some advice for you -

Stop being a whining ninny

and running off

What was that self pitying line - dekha I have hurt you

Be a man, face the reality,

If you cant love her, walk away

If you do love her, tell her and the rest of the world

And face your stepmom like a big boy, instead of side stepping like that

aag laga ke tamasha dekhna isi ko kehte hain

But you know that and take pleasure in that!

Never thought I would say this

But today Guman was the only one of the oldies who didn't over act

Honestly, I loved VC today. He spoke and yelled like a father. The last line was a tad bit OTT when he yelled 'dekhna padega Kumud' just that part though. Rest all made sense to me. His hurt and his anger was justified.

Guniyal, God that lady was right about only one thing, VC can still forgive Kumud and he eventually will, but he isn't going to forgive her for breaking his trust like this.

My heart went out for Kumud. Can just everyone stop hurting her for a bit? Was it really necessary to ask Saras to leave just when everything is so messed up?

Saras babua was a disappointment today. I was hoping he would man up! Does he remember that he told Kumud that she wouldn't be in this alone?

But then again this was a matter between VC and her daughter. But still he could've said something.

Overall the episode was entertaining enough. Just a little action by Saras would've made it a fantabulous episode.

yeah show was little not my type but it was just one epi it will get better dont gave up on it n 5 😭 not fair 😭 .

His anger was justified, but he took it too personally, it was too OTT for me!!

I found VC acting naturally. It wasn't just because he knew Saras rejected his daughter, but he was shattered when he knew his princess, his pride aka his daughter KS hid that bitter truth from him for so long, besides his wife too sided with his daughter. Any father will react like that, even worse!

When you are hurt by your loved ones, the pain is different, whom will you trust then? I find VC acting very natural, but Guniyal?

Guniyal over acted. Besides, why to kick off SC now, she accepted him by knowing the truth, so why now?

Love your writing... very 'crisp', accurate & entertaining...

Definitely much better than the episode (sorry.. Not taking that as a benchmark !!)

I am actually starting to forget why I started watching this show... SLB where r u???

and goodness.. am getting a bit tired of Saras - looks as if he is being portrayed as such a goood person that the character has started feeling less real.

I do hope his character development makes him more of a Man!!!! than a silent whimpy type!!!

I remember reading somewhere that SLB admired Ekta and said that he cannot even think of pulling her audience... like pulling his mom away from Ekta shows to watch his but maybe he is trying real hard !!!

VC - umm too OTT, too much shouting for me!! Lets hope he is the kind who always gets hyper first and then sees reason later.

I would have liked to see concern, confusion, worry and not just yelling and blaming - he is supposed to have been her support, doesn't fit in with my assessment of his character,

He never blamed LNV so many years ago, instinctively trusted Saras during the whole gau hatya kaand, but suddenly turns on his daughter - didnt gel with me!
