Whats more disturbing is the fact that there is no actual 'law' per say that states what punishment is to be given..now this guy has to go to jail for no apparent reason..😕

Let the episode air then we will know what exactly happens. yes an FIR is necessary for the arrest and Ila ben certainly didnt complain. You will not believe but in India, specially in remote villages and small town, the local inspectors behave like they are court. Forget FIR, they take people in custody and beat them up in lockups.. Law has many loopholes , specially when it comes to dishonest cops..Physical harrassment of prisoners is illegal but there have been cases where prisoners have been beaten to death.. so..reality is very different from things we read and learn.

Not on anonymous complaints and not against locally respected citizens, in village, local clout is a big deal

@ everyone- Its difficult to answer everyone on this post. So I will just say few things that should answer your questions :)

1. Arresting Saras for killing a cow, against which there is no law in India and without an FIR is WRONG .There is NO case against him. That is a fact.

2. The other fact is that a corrupt system, where local inspectors and politicians take law in their hands , there such things are not uncommon. Guman's sister threatened the inspector that if he doesnt take any action she will complaint to the minister. So to save his ass, the inspector will arrest him..thats what I am guessing.

3. Let the episode air, then we will see what happens.

4. My post was only to highlight the significance of the punishment given to Saras by the villagers an their reasons for it not about the arrest. That is wrong and baseless

5. Show needs drama.

VC certainly looks like a man of influence but I guess we have to brush this under the rug too since it doesn't make sense AT ALL😕

Yeah well I believe that we got to let it go... we can surely wait... 😆

The thing I appreciate is the transition of tracks... when It was first shown that Gumaan was to come to India I was like what she is just gonna show up like Saras did? Well this certainly gives Gumaan her entry... she might as well come in yelling at VC and start throwing accusations at him that he couldn't take care of him and stuff like that. Me looking forward to Gumaan's entry.

Why brush it under the rug Jammy ! LOL Let episode air.. we cant say VC will not be able to bail out Saras yet.. Influential I dunno... The fact that he couldn't save his guest from the punishment ..he had to mortgage his haveli.. I dont think he has much say.. He is a local businessman not a priest/brahmin who are the more influential people in such societies.

You really take your user id seriously hun?! 😆 Kidding..dont take offence😊.. yup I agree logic goes for a toss a lot of times in Indian shows.. have seen worse in many others shows I watched in the past.. its not completely unbelievable for me because in India we witness worse scenarios..all the time.
