Jennifer Winget is glad that her new show Saraswatichandra, which has been directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, has been well accepted. She talks about the role and her experience.
What do you like about the role?
Inspite of being a small-town girl, Kumud is confident and bold. Also, she voices the right and knows how to move on if she falls down. Though she knows that she's beautiful, she is not arrogant about it. Meanwhile she's traditional and loves her family.
Are you interested in working in the movies too?
I'm always running short of time. I did one film in between but I don't know what happened to it. The movie has not been released yet and I'm looking at it as an entirely different experience. Presently, I'm looking at what I can give to my show.
What is the toughest part of your job?
I love my job and I have been treated well by the production houses which I have worked with so far. I've always been taken good care of and I've received a good response for Saraswatichandra too. So, I have no complaints with my job.
Do you keep a tab on what's being written about you on the net and elsewhere?
Though I'm not on any social networking site, I receive messages from my fans so I know what's happening.
