Ever since Gau hatya track started i want to write such a post
1) Saras does not tell his father and goes to native village but VC does not call friend LNV and tell his son arrived. That is what any family does after a young guest arrives
2) Sunny goes in place of Saras to US but LNV was not called by his team and informed Sunny arrived instead of Saras
3) Dukhba is elder sister of VC but her daughter is youngest in family...so i guess she married after VC and where is her husband
4) Lady who was hit by car and her cow died did not see Yash in driver seat
5) Saras work is to make matka till he earns 25K to buy cow but that lady keeps breaking. Why? She wants Saras to stay in her house all life
6) Panditji never did any enquiry with people who were inside car about who is in driver seat
7) Saras is very rich and can buy a cow to feed family in 5 minutes with his money but is not allowed why?
8) VC never calls LNV and inform this has happened to Saras. Isn't it his duty?
9) Saras father not bothered to call son how he is where he is and what happened to him?
10) LNV returns money to money lender and gets VC property paper but VC still pays moneylender to pay LNV. Isn't that rightfully VC money that LNV propsed to pay to buy back house but he refused why?
11) No dress code for teachers. Kumud dresses are not proper for a school teacher
12) LNV is handling huge business empire but cannot understand his wife and how she misbehave with Saras
13) Guniyal and Kumud hid that Saras rejected proposal from VC and LNV
14) Guniyal allowing a guy who rejected her daughter to stay in house and all call him jijaji
15) Both Saras and Kumud will shortly learn to make pots in couple days

The channel meddles with the script to bring in regressive or cliched changes in the name of TRPs. What choice does the viewer have? Complacency and indifference has set in among the CVs, PH, channel and the viewers.

Gautam mentioned in a recent interview that they have no bank of episodes left, They shoot for an episode that airs in a day or two. That effects the quality of the product too. I agree with @ svmi, this is old wine in a new bottle. I expected a big banner such as SLB to handle their product better that too when they have been planning this over a year.

I am dreading the day the show gets SPfied and they start making changes in the script for TRPs. You might remember how that went for another show recently😉

On another note, I wonder how popular this show is in India? I have not paid attention to the TRPs.

Here on IF, I read several members complaining about the pace and intensity. Personally, I dont mind the pace and the intensity and for now I am completely ignoring the logic defying bits. Its slow but they are showing things systematically, not jumping from one track to another with tons of loopholes and no closure for any of them. Already a number of people are staying away from the show because they are anticipating a tragic end like in the original novel. Most folks dont want to emotionally invest in a show, get attached to the characters, sit through the rona dhona and not see the leads together eventually.

I just started watching SC. I am ignoring everything else for now and just enjoying the romance.

Ah ,the precap ...

Apologies for going off topic and thanks for the space to rant.

Well said. I am disappointed that an SLB serial is so cliched no better than any other

Agree with the points and the healthy debate going on ... one of the reasons why I am wanting to get away from SC ... so much illogicality in a SLB serial was not expnected by me ...but the writer of this serial did a prev serial which was full of bloopers so what can i expect ...sigh !!!

To be honest, I had a lot of expectations from this show. Initially I wasn't that impressed. But did begin liking it later and even felt perhaps it was different from other routine romantic or saas-bahu type shows. In recent days it hasn't been upto the mark and gives a stale feel. Even looks confusing.

Forget logic, it's not even engaging as a fictional story since last few days! And has become same patchwork of hackneyed romantic scenes mixed with two scenes of bitchy women.

I'd thought I'd stick to it like a regular viewer but now I'm thinking I'd have to watch it intermittently only.

I also feel it was a silly idea to try and adapt this old, archaic story in the modern era! It would have unfolded better and come across in a much better way to the viewer if it was set in its era only. (Popularity of Mahadev, Chandragupta Maurya and Jhansi Ki Rani has shown audience can accept shows based in past eras too! So what the heck was the need to fiddle with the story and base it in a modern setting?!)

I expect content in every episode as a viewer. Not just romantic scenes (same old fiddling with hair or dupatta or silly eyelocks!).

Don't generalise Indian soaps please. Shows of 80s and 90s on Doordarshan, its sister channels, Sony and Zee were all fabulous - great stories, true to life characters and impeccable acting. The only thing which perhaps was less was glamour or gloss (but Zee even corrected that).

It was only from 2000 and the Ekta-isation of Indian TV that soaps became silly, never ending and flawed.
