needless to say everyones enjoying gau hatiya track because we're gonna get lot of Samud scenes😳 but am i the only one who thinks its far from reality?
that cow was not killed purposely .and the villagers were surely going to beat saras if kumud didn't stop them. may be they wouldn't have made such a fuss if a person was killed instead😲
same with the talab scene too
if it wasn't for Saras that kid would have drowned
SLB's team has modernized the sets,Saras, Kumud and family members(to an extent) but is the villagers and beliefs still trapped in the 19 th century??😆
Is this an indication to what's gonna happen in the end??
would this conservative people and society allow a widow to remarry??

edit : Many of you have said that such things are still happening in the villages but the point is reality or not such views especially talab scene , panchayats/khaps handling crimes (as pointed out by myviewprem, BHAVII and annie2212 ) etc should not be encouraged in a show telecasted on a national wide television. I find it a little inappropriate

all things considered including kumud's dress🤣 i think serial is more of a fantasy than reality 😆 but its still worth watching anyway
share ur views 😊

some parts of rural india r still stuck in old beliefs..i think it will be a combo of modern and rural beliefs in keeping with the essence of the main story...the end might be same as novel, but presented in a different way, circumstances might change..i think its too early to think of the end, i just want to enjoy how the story unfolds, it will be interesting to watch how they show an epic story with some touch of modernization!

Still there are people with such beliefs. I hope that the ending would be different from the novel.

I don't completely agree with you.
Ratnanagri is a village with people have narrow minds ! Death of a COW is aBIG thing in Hindu religion. We , living in big cities , don't know about all this so much . But it is a big fuss in villages. Yes the lake scene was a little dragged one but for the on going track , I won't say its dragged that much , cause it is a big thing in villages. I hope you got my point =)
Peace.

Well such things are very huge and very sensitive in the rural areas. We sit in big cities and fail to realize that such regressive thoughts do exist. So I don't think its far too stretched.

And about the ending, I don't care about it. I'm going to cherish the current story. The show has just started. To think about the end right now is a far stretched thought.
