We had some stellar performances today and a BIG round of applause to the creative team for putting it together.. Dialogue writers take a bow 👏 Kumud and Saras may not be qualified in performing religious rituals like the village purohit but they definitely have a very deep understanding of the teachings and its significance not only morally but also in practical life.. It is a very sensitive topic and kudos to the team for handling it so well..Amidst all the drama around the religious sentiments attached with gau hatya, they highlighted and rose some very vital issues :

1. Kumud doesnt beat round the bush right? He is innocent and that is the truth..She has always supported the truth and she always will ..If that means she will get punished then bring it on..she is NOT scared ..Purojit jee stood there stunned.! He compared Kumud to sati who was known for her ''pativrata dharam'' Always speak the truth- all religions say..Kumud doesnt preach it..she practices it.!

2. Is religion bigger than humanity?? She points out the incidents when he saved lives when no one came forward to help the child from drowning or her father from getting burnt alive. He did it..He practices humanity..

3. What is the price of gau mata or what is is gau dhan? Saras replies- Before eating grain, a child thrives on his mother's milk and that is priceless. Take that purohit ji ! Its not writen in any religious book maybe so you might not know but he knows..so dont question his knowledge of gau dhan.. He knows the importance of ma more than any one standing there. ''

See I told you you would rock it!!! All my favorite people are here! <3 I love this ME even more now!! 🤗

I completely agree with your points. Well said. Kumud and Saras are both very very strong characters. If this doesn't prove it then I don't know what does?

I also liked the fact that the makers of show has respected the religious views as well. No BS, straight to the point, episode.

Lovely post yaara, I hope you make more of em'. 😊

These village ppl r not only bigot but also surround with many superstitions.Let keep away innocent saras frm this issue n think yash did surrender.. after this the punishment purhit gave fr a gau hatiya there a crucial ques arises..is a deaf animal so importent infornt an alive human? Where does the humanity go frm these ppl? N now they r giving a dreadful punishment to an innocent guy without proper investigation but when they wl know saras didn't do anything then how they wl repent fr doing a big injustice on a stainless human? Abt this is there any rule in their own constitution!
Nice post.
