Okay, yeah! At least a few people agree with me...

I think that just would be confusing for that person... Either cover up, or don't.. It should not a forced thing to do...

In the show I did think that it was quite weird. They could have just shown the girl without a hijab and it wouldn't have made a difference since I think we have long established the settings.
However, I don't know where each person resides but I have certainly seen women wearing pencil skirts and hijab simultaneously. It just depends on how they were raised to practice and preach their culture.
Also, some women are forced to cover their heads no matter what, so I guess it is a debatable topic.

That's the look of the air hostesses of Emirates. It's actually quite common in the UAE. They are did their research.

I know Dubai is a little messed up in terms of women trying to be conservative (covering up, be that hijab or burkha) yet still being "modern" (wearing not so modest clothes under the burkha)... but seriously, a hijab and a pencil skirt?! It's so odd!

😆i think i saw many dubai ad in that way

It is not exactly a blooper... I have seen air-hostesses wear the scarf along with such skirts...
I guess it has more to do with the formal skirt being a dress code that can't be avoided in such jobs and these girls are expected to cover their hair as well and hence this mis-match...
