Hello!

I love this show, I recently started watching it...

I am not basing the show, but...

I don't know if this question has already been asked... but how come at saras' dad's place, there is a servant, who happens to be a girl and is wearing the religious scarf (knows as hijab).. and is wearing a short skirt???

Is that girl a muslim?

I'm normally a silent reader, but LOL I've been laughing at that since day one. Thank God someone else noticed.
I know Dubai is a little messed up in terms of women trying to be conservative (covering up, be that hijab or burkha) yet still being "modern" (wearing not so modest clothes under the burkha)... but seriously, a hijab and a pencil skirt?! It's so odd!

Even I noticed that and it just cracked me up. A hijab with a skirt? Just being pretentious.

Lool I've noticed that as well, and I'm a girl who wears a hijab. I'm from London and there are girls who wears hijab with skirt, which from my personal view is kinda confusing for me.

Okay! SO I am NOT the only one.. HEHE..

I wear a hijab, and the whole point is to be modest... I hope they either take the hijab out, or make her wear less revealing clothing...

i thought it has become common now...

ive seen many girls wear hijabs with skirts...ive seen them at clubs and bars...they dont drink or anything, but just come to have a night out with their friends...they are modest, they are well-behaved, like i said they dont drink or smoke, they just chill... but they do "dress to impress" which is the code for most bars and clubs these days...it wont be really short skimpy skirts...but decent looking skirts...

just stating what ive seen around...if ive offended anyone then i sincerely apologize..

I found that to be quite weird as well and the way I see it, being a hijaabi myself is that it's more important to cover your body first rather than your hair otherwise it's pointless wearing a hijaab in the first place...

havin been to dubai a few times myself, i have never seen any servants or waitors wear a hijab like that its just not normal. even if theyre not muslim, they usually wear trousers and full sleeve tops but this is just unreal.

been finding it funny since i first saw it aswell
