the kite scene conveyed us a message

1. kumud for d first time got her kite cut as she got distracted because of saras...
so it will be because of him she will end up marrying other person..
2. even if her kite was cut she didnt want it to get into the hands of a wrong person.. but she couldnt get the kite and finally it landed up alone in d mist of the pool...
likewise after marriage she had to go through lot of problems and would finally end up left alone...
3. but saras was following her all d way she was chasing d kite..
so saras would always follow her and be by her side in her struggle.. and when left alone saras would lift her up for a new beginning as like he finally took d kite in his hands...

i dont think MR.SLB has adopted the story as it is because it was a story of 1900's were remarriage for girls wasnot encouraged...if he has changed d script to d present age then i still have a hope that he will certainly get saras and kumud together
