I hope she doesn't become subdued, that'd suck. Or maybe she'll do subdued, Kumud Sundari style. I could get with that 😆

I'm desperate to know what exactly will make her fall for him (properly) and forgive him. Because usually in shows if the hero saves the heroine's father she's all over him, all misty eyes and shy smiles. Kumud was too proud to even thank him.

I know right!! Hero saving heroine's father would be the classic way to forgive & forget but nope, she couldn't even thank him. Even yesterday, I could still see the attitude seeping through that guilt. It hadn't totally gone.

As a viewer, I am loving watching this proudy trait. It's interesting and different! Ever seen a TV female protagonist with such attitude?

I just saw the latest promo where Kumud says she will bash in to a wall if he comes in front of her but she won't show her face. That is pretty WOW!

I loved ur reply👏
Its because of too many soaps where an egoistic male lead is shown who humiliates the female lead🥱 and we got used to them..For a change why cant we accept the other way round! 😕
I love this kumud.,whos attitude is more like a common gal..⭐️

Well said guys!!

We all are so used to watching the female protagonist to be shy, soft spoken, innocent, sacrificing, selfless, silently suffering, ever smiling even after going through all the atrocities inflicted by other characters in the serial. I guess we are too comfortable in that zone. The general idea is if you fit in this definition then you will be considered as the ideal daughter, dil, woman ….But it is far from reality and this portrayal really needs to change….In real life people get really intimated if they come across a strong, assertive girl /lady. What's wrong if she speaks her mind …shows some attitude, pride, ego, anger ….makes the other person realize that she is really hurt….does that make her bad…. is she not human …after all these traits are just various shades of human nature… …then why these double standards ….after all nobody is perfect….

Samud you both rock!!! Keep up the good work!!

I think many of you misunderstood what I said...I definitely am not in favour of Kumud suddenly becoming "mahaan" and forgiving Saras. I just want her to stop this thing about not showing her face (not that the back view is bad 😊) but act more reasonably. She can definitely retain her pride and her individuality by showing Saras that she does not care for him (yet) but it is time she stopped turning away and insulting him.

i think she is acting like that for she is deeply hurt and is trying to cover it up with her pride and ego

I like her character...it's different from you're typical "bahu" types who will die for her husband and family (not that there is anything wrong with it) but I guess Kumud represents a modern woman brought up with traditional principles and with her background and education (she even said herself that she's the first graduate of her village and the one who fought to get internet into the village), she's probably thinking "He's crazy to refuse a girl like me" - which is kind of true lol

I don't know if I'd call it arrogant and if she is - she sort of has a right to be - its not right but I don't see why she can't feel upset. She is - in a sense - the perfect girl. She's educated, familial, traditional and yet modern. She's opinionated and yet loyal and to top it off, she's beautiful. Honestly, she's got a lot of self-respect and dignity and she thinks highly of herself...it's bordering on arrogance but honestly, I see it as having a high sense of self-worth. And to me, nothing is wrong with that =)

On another note, I also sense a hint of embarrassment from Kumud's end. Here is a girl, so larger than life, she's proud and accomplished and very "tezz" as you can call it and yet she agreed to marry this man without even looking at his face, only to be "rejected" by him. Through her eyes, I see this almost as a mistake and more than being rejected, I think it kills her she allowed herself to have this dream. She's an upright, strong and independent woman who had a moment of lapse in thinking when she saw his eyes and that was a moment of weakness for her, which by way of her character, is the complete opposite of who she is.

Lol i have begun to ramble but anyway, Kumud's character fascinates me more than Saras's.
