Kumud's attitude starting to irritate - Page 3

Had I not read Reema's and Aanya's posts, I was in the mind to say that Kumud needs to back down a little bit. But I agree with them now- why can't television have a flawed female lead with multi-traits? Viewers have been conditioned to accept egoistic or obstinate male leads cause that's a given for the males, because he is supposedly the default being, that's why it doesn't irk. Degendering the egoistic trait, Kumud's character needs to learn, as the story progresses, to not let her pride overpower her judgement because people need to learn from their weaknesses and tame their inner demons. For the time being, bring on the interesting dimension of hers.

at first i liked it but now this whole face thing is getting annoying. i just wish they would do something where this boy would just see kumuds face already. i dont mind kumid being a jerk to saras but im just tired of the whole face thing. something somewhere needs to happen so they just see eachother

Yep the ego trip abt not showing her face is getting old and boring..

Her taunting Saras abt not able to fly kite shows how much she has fallen for him...She cant bring herself to show her face and thank him is ridiculous...

Pls remove those long bangs off Kumud's face and pls make her cover her left boob with see thru chunni-odhani...It looks horrible...I am sorry to say this...It is so obvious to make her look more seductive...See thru can still show her cute-sexy choli...

More than the attitude and ego, I think it has somewhere become a game for her; a challenge that she has given to Saras...She wants to end it but she doesn't want to accept defeat. She is melting...

She is not arrogant now. She is arrogant and egoistic by birth. Its a character flaw she has. If she didnt have that trait she wouldn't be the Kumud LaxmiNandan was talking about..Suraj si tez! Its not an ordinary comparison he made there..The sun can nourish life on one hand and on the other hand the same sun can burn life to ashes...thats how Kumud is..

Thanks Kruti :) Ego is never a good thing..Its self respect and pride heightened to unjustifiable proportions and it is meant to be irritating for people who are at the receiving end..

Agree with much of the post. Kumud's attitude is definitely beginning to stink. Her reasons of not exposing her face to Saras is heightening unbearably. I disagree that "pride is good", for me, pride can be very unattractive sometimes and in Kumud's case this is the the exact matter. If it were self-respect that was stopping her from showing her face to Saras then maybe she wouldn't be so annoying but it doesn't come across this way, all it seems is arrogance!
