I also think someone betterthan jennifer can be brought
Although kumad character is quite bubbly and jennifer hasnt justified the role yet
So i cant say if she playing perfect

Kumud's character is not of some clown, who would make you guys laugh with her OTT nonsense talks. She's completely in different league, she's strong-minded and very composed girl and yes! lively at the same time.

You people seem to have complete different defintion of 'bubbly' (thanks to 4lions leading ladies). I'm personally no fond of that kind of bubbliness, where you have to talk some dumb talks to make yourself look cute.

Anyways, jennifer is doing amazing job 👍🏼 Hats off to her!.

Lol good job not being a blind fan. it's rare you see that around these woods. 😊

I agree with you. Seems like people think by bubbly we are implying nonsensical comedy. Not at all. Kumud is suppose to be headstrong and be able to hold her ground ...but also have a bit to quirkiness to her that makes her innocent in a cute, bubbly way. Jennifer is not bringing out this side to the character yet but Im waiting for improvements. It's only been a week and they will make the roles their own.

I think you misunderstood people.

No one said they want Khushi to play the role. People said they would like to see Sanaya. Your definition of bubbly seems to be pointing to the character khushi. Don't see how it's relevant at all.

There is a difference between the two. 😆

i can never be a blind fan of any actresses or actors of tellydom except villian who played sasha in kahani ghar ghar ki 😆 blind fan only on chetan

Better choice could be made here but il wait for another two weeks to see a change if not i might have to back out watching

i didnt said people want khushi here, But yes! they do associate the word 'bubbly' word with khushi. Which i dont agree with. They want kumud to act all clumsy and chirpy all the time, which i would never want. I absolutely loved kumud from today's episode, now thats what i would call strong personality in real sense.

And its been only 4 days and some people think they know kumud characterization better than director and actors 🤔

im going to be brutally honest here. Jennifer looks miscast. She looks too mature and too suave for a village belle like Kumud. Things could get better in the coming weeks, but currently the jury is out.

As a couple Rode and jenny dont work for me. Yes of course I'm going to be told they haven't met. But who said you need physical proximity to create chemistry.

But the whole thing is a result of mediocre writing, lack of clarity in interpretation of characters than the actors not doing a good job.

I don't know how people are stating that Kumud's character is bubbly etc etc etc.. none of us has actually read the original huge novel or has seen the 1968 movie.. there is no other reference to the original work.Of whatever little is known about the novel, they say that Kumud was a strong headed, educated girl with high moral values yet practical. That is exactly what Jennifer has been portraying. If SLB chose Jennifer to play Kumud not once but twice, after talks with so many top television actresses, he must have seen his Kumud in her, right? Lets not forget that the novel is by some1 else but what we are seeing on screen is SLB's vision of the novel..his interpretation. So yes, I am very happy with the casting and Jenny is doing fab as Kumud. Infact she has been the most impressive so far :)
