I was really looking forward to Bansali's show, I really like the concept of SWC (even if the Name is from the old B& W Movie) & really like GR's acting. I wish They would have done a better casting job with the leading lady though.

I thought I was the only one who felt that way.

This is the first time i'm watching Jennifer. So maybe I need to see more of her to see if her acting grows on me.

Sanaya Irani may have been a better pair for Gautam. I loved her as Kushi from the first episode of Iss Pyaar Ko. I just don't feel the same way with Jenny. 😕

too bad SLB thought she is perfect for kumud's role 😛 and i feel the same..so no issues from my side. For me she's the best thing about this show so perfect.

Gautam Rode and Sanay Irani would make a super hot couple (maybe in real life too). Maybe too hot for us to ever see on screen together.

I'm so scared for monday. We'll finally get to see Saraswatichandra and Kumud together. The entire show so far has built super high expectations. so their chemistry must be up to par or they'll leave the audience disappointed.

This isn't ipkknd, it's saraswatichandra, a new show with a new jodi, I don't think sanaya wud be rite because everyone wud just think about Khushi when they see her.
Jennifer is kumud, her expressions, her dialogues, everything she does is what slb's kumud is supposed to be. And more than anything I feel such a huge amount of chemistry between her and Gautam and they haven't even shared the screen yet.

no offesne, but people are stating their opinion and simply suggesting who they think would be a better fit. You don't have to agree, but at the same time have no reason to tell others what to do or not to do on an open forum. This only leads to polarization. State your opinion, for or against, and carry on.

Edit-this is not aimed at you TM, this is for people who think IPK is being brought into it. Sanaya is an actor, why can't people mention her name without others jumping the, about IPK. Lol.

I agree with most of the people above me. Please don't bring in Sanaya. I liked her as Khushi, but Jenny and only Jenny is Kumud for me. I think Jenny is really cute, and I think she is doing fab job. I don't think Sanaya would fit the role as well. Plus this is a fresh pair too. I like it how it is. But it's nice to share opinions :)

Anyway, as far as the topic at hand...I'm still on the fence. I think it's too early to judge because they will tweak the characterization of both to see what works.

I think she's doing fine so far acting the part but i do agree with you that the role does not suit her. She doesn't fit the character of a bubbly, quirky Kumud. But it may simply be because of The writing and we may get improvements. I'll give it some more time and hope she grows on me.

I also think they need to work on Guatams character. For some reason it's missing the spark and fierceness we saw the first episode.

When you put it that way I can say when they see Jenifer they see Riddima. This is not about characters from a previous show. No one is bashing Jenifer either. All I'm expressing is that I feel for such a highly rated director it would have been nice to see a stronger leading lady.

I have seen Jenifer's acting & sanaya's and shilpa's & the list goes on & I feel there are better more 'creative' actors for a SLB drama. Who knows maybe we'll see something different from Jenifer too, but I did not catch a zing from her in the first episode.
