When I saw the promos and from previous episodes, I concluded that Kumud must be the sidhi-sadi gaav ki chhori with the mediocre dreams of finding her Rajkumar. And Saras to be the kind of guy who lives with pain of a mother's loss and lives up to her wishes.

But today I discovered something different.

Kumud isn't just a sidhi-saadi girl. She might be innocent, and loving person. A personality that everybody would love to be around. But she ha her pride. She doesn't have ego issues, she has the kind of pride that can put other down, as well as impress them. She has just the right attitude! I love how for the pride of her family and her dreams, she is willing to write him to come to India and dare to say no in front of the family! I love her character! Fabulous!

Saras wasn't able to write sorry. Why? Because he is the angry young man lost in pain. He has a very soft side, as we saw today, but his father's constant nagging and loss of his mother makes him mask his real self. He needs to be solved, helped and loved. And Kumud is exactly the person who would do so! Well, hopefully she will! :P

I am loving this show! I think this is the next addiction!

And about the letter, it didn't reach India the same day. Unlike other shows, they don't have to show every freaking day! Everything they do! They are skipping days and rushing the show in just the right manner so that WE viewers can enjoy what we always demand for--romance!

Oh and, why was the letter in hindi...were they not gujarati? 🤣

PS : Gautam is so HOT!

The show is getting better and better by each episode. It's all settling in really well and if you think about it the pace isn't fast at all. The foundation is being laid properly and I love the layers being added to the characters.

Kumud had started dreaming but she's practical too and her first thought was 'What will I say to my dad?'. Now that is EXACTLY what I'd be thinking. How will my parents react? They'll be heartbroken. The screenplay is so beautiful that you never want the episode to finish. My mum went 'tch' when the screen froze at the end 🤣

I'm so glad I'm warming up to Gautam now. He seems much more comfortable now and yes he is HOT!!

Precap was dhaaansu!! They're going to make a very interesting pair for sure.

EDIT; Because a topic on this would be too small, I'll just write it here but my most favourite moment in the episode has to be the one between Kumud and her dad. How he recalled her cycle trips to Rajkot and then she replied with how he used to massage her legs at night secretly. That made me awww so much.

I completely agree with your topic! I'm glad the characterizations are the way they are. When I was reading the novel, Kumud seemed very timid and reserved cause the story started out with her being married. Never really got to see her fun side in the novel, but I'm glad we're getting to see another aspect of how this girl was before all the trials and tribulations she went through. Kumud's feisty and never give up attitude is what sets her apart from others. Her family means a lot to her, and despite the fact she was giving her heart slowly to the man of her dreams, she still stands up for her family's dignity and challenges Saras to come refuse her personally. You really have to have guts to do that. And I LOVE how Saras went, cause he had already felt the guilt from before, but her challenge just made him feel all the more worst.

Finally caught up with the episodes.

Definitely going to be my next addiction. Loved Kumud's attitude, and we were shown a different side to her even though she was portrayed as a well mannered girl, not that saying those things to Saras made her ill mannered loved her for it.

and ufff Gautam is so HOT... poor guy didn't know what hit him. he was dumbfounded by her graceful figure.

love the fact that the show isn't dragging or else we would have had to wait days for the letter to get to India.

can't wait for next week eventhough I doubt that he'll not come face to face with her until she truly believes that there is a future with him.

Love every aspect of this show Gautam and Jen look gorgeous the sets are so beautiful its like watching a movie.

Definetely addictive...

The show is going very well . . . I'm fascinated with the show , The characterization are also "WOW" . .. Now, I'm waiting for their real meeting . . . & some romance between them . . .
& the biggest fact is the show is not dragging . ... & the sets, their dressing . . . is gorgeous!!

I love the characteristics and the way each character has taken it's role. There are loopholes with internet and stuff, but I guess we can sidestep them. I am loving the show anyway.

I think a how is more fun when it's going fast. I am not a very big fan of hawa-hawa-look-look syndrome! Though I am sure that's gonna happen in this show, it being so romantic 😆 But hopefully, it will last longer than other shows these days.

I can't believe people didn't see Gautam before! He was in industry since more than 6 years now! I just realized that while rewatching Kumkum and Kyunki 😆 Don't even ask why I was watching that! 🤣 I watched all the K shows again!

I am a total Daddy's girl! And I love the bond Kumud shares with her dad! It reflects a girl's relationship with her father so well! =D
