errmmm even in this world, I used to write letters to my parents when they were already in the US and I wasn't whenever possible even though we would email and use the phones as well...and moreover, there are still some places actually a lot of places in the world where there are no mobiles and no internet...and don't forget this show is based on a Novel written more than century ago, they are just giving the modern touch, not completely modernizing it😊...so it's not actually a blooper you see😃
