SC's character is good. But ideal is never realistic. I hope SLB dosnt make it ideal. His equation with his parents is something I look forward to. From what I know, Saras doesnt like his step-mother coz he thinks shes behind his dads money or something like that..

Kumuds character is good. Her equation with the family is also nice.. Like you pointed out, the leads equations with their families are opposite. Interesting.

Kumuds onscreen dad had played some role of a villain earlier! Scares me! Though his character is nice! Lol..

I like her sisters. The actors are good. Waiting for their characters to unfold!

From what I've seen so far of SC, and I know it's too early to say, but as a character, he seems like the most likely to be an engaging complex character compared to Kumud unless we get to see her character get fleshed out well. I sense SC has issues and I hope SLB's team does a good job of highlighting those things about SC's character. SC's mom is supposed to be a gray character and I don't know if I'm so invested in her character since the first episode showed her to be an almost out and out villain and not really gray. Hoping things get better.

Start was good.. Male lead didn't disappoint.. From the first Epi... Look like he will do good. Looked to me, his & his father's equation - complicated. And his step Mom will add ghee to the fire.. 😉 *typical villain kinds, nai?😆*

His Step Mom.. did do a bit OTT but then she is Indian TV vamp.. you can' expect anything other than that. One thing I found weird though.. When SC's dad told her that he fixed his Rishtaa, and she stood heart-broken looking in the mirror.. The focus was on her Backless Blouse for Good 5 minutes... 😆😆😆😆 I was like... Move.. Move... move the camera. Iski back nai dekhni mujhe.. 😉 aap yehi sab dekho! hahahhaha.. but i didnt like that scene! it was like kind of not needed!

Kumud.. Her smile in the first close-up shot was Okyish. It wasn't that impressive. She picked up afterwards. 😊 Liked how she said, Why would he decide her Future. Good one. But hope she maintain this thru out.😃 exactly what i said in one of my post! i hope her character is maintained. Hard to believe she endures so much pain later on.

Her Family looked ok to me. Like they wasted good 5 minutes in her sister going to everyone & saying about her rishtaa in everyone's ear. That was LOL moment for me. i felt that scene was good. they cant add all the seriousness in only one epi! it was a breather!

Kusum, Her Muma Papa looked perfect to their character. Scene for all 4 of them was very good.

Lastly, Kumud going into water at night time.. was a Hammer moment.. Moti dikha kese bhai?? that too itne gehre pani mein.. that was OTT haan.. i was like seriously😆

baki sab bahot aschha tha. Looking forward to watch it.. 😊

The first episode was good and the leads did well. The sets, the music was good too but my one gripe would be SC's step mom's acting. Many, if not all, Hindi TV villains overact and she was basically one of those. I liked SC's father's acting and have adored the guy since Punar Vivaah.

Gautam has become SC for me since the promos and he's very promising. As for Jenny as Kumud, she's doing a good job too but her character does seem like the standard issue TV heroine but I'm hoping in future episodes we get to see the complexities of her character. So far SC's character seems intriguing to me the most and I can't wait to see how things develop.
