I felt as if I was watching a typical SLB movie Devdas and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The typical SLB Gujraati large family and elaborate lavish sets. Some scenes reminded me very much of HDDCS.Specially Kumud's entry and some subsequent scenes which they showed in the promo.

I enjoyed the show. SLB's signature style is very much evident.

Shreya, thats exactly what I said about Jenny too. She looks a tad too mature for the young and chirpy Kumud. Maybe they have cast her primarily for the woman Kumud becomes after her marriage.

from the way the character has been sketched ..i expected a more pretty (not that jenny is not..but still ) and a young girl...

she would have done justice to kumud! also i feel that her dialogue delivery could have been better..like the way she had to unnecessary stress on few words during that pearl scene (which i agree with swathiji looks cliched...just like the diya scene in devdas)

monica bedi totally turned me off...her character is very good and requires a very strong actor to portray the jealous,dominating and control freak mother...SLB really needs to re-consider her role to leave an impact on viewers mind (atleast on mine, because i liked the character)

guys in my honest opinion i dont know about others i wont be able to watch this show monica bedi and father who otherwise is very good in his other show turned me off and we will have lot of them as they have important roles

Ok..I found my way...res for now..still need to watch the show and give my bit...

Its a hindi soap trust me they'll get together in the end. SLB was brave enough to think Guzaarish would be a commercial success, but even he'd know people would stop watching him if saras and jenny don't get together in the end.

PS - watch Guzaarish. I was so sad they called it a commercial failure. Film-makig at its best. Hrithik and I go a long way back. BUT WATCH GUZAARISH, if you haven't. That movie is beautiful.

also the way kumud dressed reminded me of aish's dressing sense in HDDCS...😆
