Ammaji is telling Rangoli to remember the mistake she committed several years ago and to repent. She folds her hands and begs Rangoli to mend her ways, she still has a chance to save her relationship if only she admits her mistake. Brij is listening to all this with a tortured expression on his face and he remembers:
A happy Brij is assembling a cradle that Daddaji bought for them. (Um, was Daddaji in a cash crunch because I swear that cradle was missing its bottom half.) He tells Rangoli, who is wearing her usual angry expression, that he can't wait for the months to pass and for his baby to be born. He says only someone who's experienced a deprived childhood can appreciate what a great thing it is to know that his child will have everything he missed.😭 He thanks Rangoli for all that she's giving him.

Rangoli finally has enough and throws herself angrily on the bed. She tells him to shut up because she has a bad headache and has spent the day in the hospital. Brij wonders why she's so upset and why she went alone to the hospital when he was going to accompany her for the routine checkup the next day.
Rangoli spits out that there isn't going to be any checkup for there isn't any baby. She's coming from an abortion. Brij is shocked and can barely speak properly. He shouts at her and asks her who gave her the authority to do such a thing. Rangoli sits up and says she doesn't need anyone's permission to decide what to do with her body. Brij shouts back that he's not anyone, he's the baby's father. Rangoli says he might be the father but she's the one who was suffering by carrying the baby in her womb.
Brij yells that she's not doing something remarkable - that's how babies are born.😆 Rangoli tells him she didn't want a baby right then. Brij says they've been married for three years, if she doesn't want a baby then, then when does she want one? Rangoli says she will think about it. Brij says she might not be able to have a baby in the future because she had a late term abortion and that was dangerous to her health. 😕
Rangoli tells him to leave. She's feeling very weak and exhausted after spending the day in the hospital. Brij says brokenly that he WILL leave. He's never gotten anything other than humiliation and tears from this relationship anyway. He says, "My child..." and looks one last time at the cradle. (My heart broke for bechara Brij at this point. So sad yaar!) Rangoli sneers at him and settles down for a nap while Brij staggers out of the room. Outside, Ammaji is standing with tears pouring down her face. They both stare at each other in silent grief.
Back in the present, a pained Brij absently puts his hand out to balance himself and knocks a vase over - attracting the attention of Ammaji and Rangoli from within the room. Rangoli and he exchange a look and then he leaves. Ammaji looks accusingly at Rangoli.
(Oh lord, did they actually break out the "she had an abortion, so she can't have any more babies because God is punishing her" storyline? 😆 One of these days a screenwriter will meet an actual gynec and his head will explode from all the new information! 🤣 But until then, YAY! Rangoli can't have kids! 🥳)
The Tiwaris are in Bhopal and waiting for Mama and Mami to come back from somewhere. They're telling Arti and Pooja how they're going to have the same amount of fun in Bhopal as they did in Pachmarhi and how it's a good thing that Pooja can now follow her dreams. Arti and Pooja look uncomfortably at each other.
Sumitra says the people at Harivansh's office gave him a big farewell party and everybody was asking about the two girls. She confesses that she's a bit sad about leaving her home so abruptly but things will work out for the best. Pooja looks a teeny bit guilty as she realizes her happy solution wasn't all that happy for her parents who had to leave their lives behind.😡
Arti tells her parents about Mami being unhappy about their moving in. Harivansh says she's not wrong and they will find a house to rent while waiting for official quarters. He suddenly remembers that Brij had called him and offered him the house of a friend. Arti gives Pooja a dirty look and Pooja is flustered. They plan to go look at the house in the afternoon.
When they reach the house, however, it's the Brija love nest and Pooja being the dummy she is, almost blurts it out.😆 Arti asks her what she said but Pooja covers it up. Inside, the Tiwaris are awed to find a house twice the size of theirs and fully furnished to boot. Harivansh is touched that Brij went to all this trouble just because they put him up in Pachmarhi for one night.🤣 Arti is fuming. He then points out that they can't afford to pay the kind of rent that a house like this must cost because it's worth his entire salary. He says he will thank Brij but they'll look for something else.
Pooja immediately points out that she also earns a lot of money and will earn even more in the future. They only have to live here for two months before the official quarters are ready and until then, she can help out. Arti looks unhappy. Harivansh and Sumitra tell Pooja to save her money for a rainy day and hang on to it.
Pooja starts pouting that her parents consider her finances separate from theirs. (This is a cute scene but it's giving me a bad feeling. In the future, I feel Pooja is somehow going to hurt her parents over financial matters.) Finally they agree to Pooja paying rent. Sumitra wants to check out the rest of the house and Arti grabs the opportunity to corner Pooja and ask her if this is something she planned with Brij. (Arti got all the smarts in the family, looks like!)
Pooja denies it, getting better at lying by the day so that even her own sister can't catch her. She follows their parents out of the room and Arti is left thinking - Brij is spinning a web all around Pooja and making sure she doesn't leave Bhopal. She's afraid her sister won't come to her senses until he abandons her midstream. Arti decides she has to talk to him herself.😲
(Ok, I know everybody is angry at Arti for being such a tyrant and Brija ka dushman but I have to admit, she's being a good, responsible older sister. Never have I been more unhappy to see responsible behavior 😆)
Mrityunjay is back in town and up to no good. He calls Brij and tells him that Rangoli is hot on the heels of two suspects - Bhavna and Pooja. Brij gets a jolt at the sound of that. He asks how she narrowed it down to those two and M says it has to do with press clippings. Brij looks thoughtful. M says his men are also supposed to be keeping an eye on Brij, so he should be on the lookout. M promises to call with more info when he has it. Brij is planning something. 😳
He's discussing election things with party officials in his office a bit later when Psycho Pandey breezes in and dismisses everybody so she can have a private chat.🤢 Brij is not amused. She tells him she has a doctor's appointment. Brij says brain specialists don't hand out appointments that quickly. Rangoli laughs sarcastically and then drops her bomb -
She has a gynec appointment and has decided to have a baby.😲 He needs to come with her so she can discuss fertility issues. Brij must have been expecting something like this because he goes from mild shock to dry contempt pretty fast, pointing out that nature doesn't march according to her orders and ever since her abortion, it's impossible for her to get pregnant. 🤔
Rangoli points out that medical science has improved a great deal in the past few years and he needs to come with her immediately. She grabs his arm and pulls him along despite his protests. He stops short when he spies Arti standing in the lobby through his glass window.
Precap: Arti and Brij sit in his office and she asks him to please leave Pooja alone. Brij looks heartbroken. An angrily defiant Pooja asks Arti if she thinks she can separate the two of them by constantly threatening to go to their parents or by insulting Brij. Arti says if Pooja even tries to meet Brij in the future, she will be sorry. Poojas asks her what she'll do and Arti says she won't say, she will simply do it. Pooja looks shocked and afraid.
Congratulations to those of you who predicted that Psycho Marriage Fix-it Kit will come up with a Baby Solution. That poor child, whoever it is that she gives birth to.🤢 Not that she will, now that God Has Punished Her For Her Sin. 🤣
I have very wild theories about her choosing Pooja as a surrogate once she comes to know she can't have a baby but still needs one to control Brij. I wouldn't put it past her, esp if she comes to know that Brij has been lying to Pooja about his marital status. 😡
