I feel like I'm not too good at writing dialogues and emotional stuff like this so it's a big relief to see that you liked this part.

And like you said, Kabir has had no one to share his pain with for all these years so he is bound to have more feelings and anger pent up inside him as compared to Karan. I wanted to show that Kabir is still very emotionally connected to his dad, but he also needs time to sort through everything that he has found out recently. But Prakash knows his son well enough to be able to explain things and guide him through this rough patch.
