Episode 556

Episode starts with Gunjan walking alone. She feels someone is behind and turns and then she walks faster. Gunjan runs and trips and falls and looks at something and is shocked. Kabir is driving and thinking how he and Rachana had hid and Rachana is thinking of when their hands touched and smiles. They meet Dadi at home and Kabir says he would have fetched her if he knew she was coming. Rachana asks how is she to which she says she's fine. Dadi asks where have they been and Rachana and Kabir answer differently saying meeting and lunch respectively. Dadi says they are both saying different things so what's happening. Rachana says it was a lunch meeting with a client to which Kabir agrees. Dadi thinks something is up. Rachana bids her goodbye and leaves. Meanwhile Gunjan gets up and bumps into Mayank while running. She's glad to see him and he is too and he hugs her. He asks her where was she as Seema was looking for her and where did she get the suit from. Gunjan says she got the suit from Divya's parents, the girl who was lost. She tells Mayank that she had fallen. Mayank says she knows the condition of this village and even the police have said that girls and women cannot roam freely on their own. Mayank says what if something happens to her. Mayank says he feels they shouldn't have come here and is waiting for the wedding to be over with and they return to Benaras soon. Gunjan thinks of she tells Mayank that she felt someone following her then he will get worried. Gunjan tells him she loves the village. Gunjan then sees a sugarcane seller and tells Mayank she wants to have it. She then asks the vendor if she can spin it. Mayank and Gunjan have a good time and enjoy drinking the sugarcane juice. Gunjan notices a hand with a bracelet that has a blue stone. Mayank then drags her away but she keeps turning to see the suspicious hand. Rachana thinks that Kabir is a lover as much as he is a coward and laughs saying why did he confess his love to her if he was that scared. Rachana then notices Shail in her room and is terrified. Shail asks why does she look so frightened and then notices she didn't eat her packed lunch. Rachana says she was busy due to the next day's photoshoot but Shail says that the photoshoot was suppose to be today to which Rachana says was postponed as she wasn't ready. Shail then asks Rachana why didn't she say that she and Kabir were out at a restaurant. Rachana is shocked and Shail says Gopal told her. Rachana tells her she had a lunch meeting with a client and ate lunch out. Shail asks why did she say that she wasn't hungry then to which Rachana says she didn't want to offend Shail that she ate out hence didn't eat the home food she gave. Shail says she has become so understanding. Rachana thinks she has to lie so much because of this.
Some relatives are telling Prabhu and Mayank they are lucky to have found a good groom for Chiraya and that he has money and land. They say they wish Shail and Dayal were there too as it has been many years since they've seen them. Prabhu then says Shail and Dayal sent something for them and passes it. He refuses to take it at first but PRabhu insists as Chiraya is like a daughter. The wife brings drinks for them and Mayank asks her if she has seen Gunjan to which she says that Gunjan is with Chiraya and getting along very well. Chiriya comes and scares Gunjan and tells Gunjan her face is burning and she tells Chiriya that her face will glow and her groom will look at her. Chiraya teases Gunjan just like how Mayank follows Gunjan around. Chiriya then quickly adds oil to the lamp and says if it goes off they will be in darkness. Gunjan asks when will the electricity come back. She tells Gunjan there is no electricity and that she makes do by fanning herself. Gunjan applauds her for being able to be happy despite so many difficulties. Chiriya's mother tells Gunjan food will be ready in a while and she will call her. Gunjan tells Chiriya that she is very hungry and she tells Gunjan that she has to wait till all the men eat first. Gunjan says this is the limit. Rachana calls Kabir and tells him that Gopal did see them and told Shail and she says she lied to Shail. Kabir is not pleasedand says that he doesn't like it because either big or small a lie is a lie. He says he will talk to Shail to which Rachana stops him and says she wants to enjoy her freedom. She says that Shail won't understand and that they have a huge gap in their age. She says if they find out they might stop their meetings. She asks him to promise her that he won't say a thing and he promises. Gunjan is passing in hunger and drinks water. Chiraya comes and tells her how much will she drink. Gunjan says since she's hungry she's filling her stomach with water. Chiriya says then she will be running to the fields at night. Gunjan asks why will she do so. Chiriya's mother comes and says that food is ready and that to drink small amounts of water. Gunjan was about to say she drank a lot of water when Chiriya stops her. Gunjan asks her what is it about. Seema comes in and Chiriya asks her why didn't she explain to Gunjan the trouble she will face. Seema tries to say soemthing but leaves. Eventually Gunjan asks Chiriya to explain and she says its because not all houses have toilets so they have to go to the fields so they drink small amounts of water. Gunjan asks if the don't fall sick which Chiriya says they don't have a choice. She says the same happned to Divya and that's why she is missing. She tells Gunjan to hold till 4 am as they can't go out till then ad Gunjan says she already drank 3 glasses of juice.
