Sorry to say this, but I've noticed this with other Indian teleserials also...redemption by anyone (usually a male character) is never shown properly. I don't think the writers of these shows are capable of it. We see some sort of redemption in English serials but never in Hindi serials or films. We should not get our hopes up high that Vihaan will tug at his ears and apologize to Rachna and her family. In his eyes he has changed and that's enough for him. The scenes of Vihaan wooing Rachna and going out on cute little dates with her, bringing her flowers and gifts, etc. IS the redemption in the minds of the CVs and writers---they don't think they need to show anymore.

If you watch with this in mind and you like ViNa, you won't be disappointed. This is all we ViNa fans are going to get. If Mayank redemption was never shown properly how can we expect Vihaan redemption? Vihaan is not really even a parallel male lead. I'm just happy for more ViNa screen time and Rachna standing up for herself more. I loved how she challenged Vihaan to come to the house and proclaim love for her in front of her family. The old Rachna would never have done that. Remember the scene months ago after Vihaan broke the engagement with Rachna and she was sobbing and writing Vihaan a letter saying she still loves him and to please come back to her? Well, in her own way Rachna has grown a lot since then and has come a long way. But she never stopped loving Vihaan in her heart. So she's following her heart now, but I do think she's better equipped emotionally to deal with Vihaan's antics. She didn't go in her room and sob after the tea stall incident. She got pissed off and left from there, then told Vihaan on the phone what he needs to do to prove his love for her.
