That was not a mistake. It would be very difficult to not fall in love with him with all the romantic gestures he was doing till Gunjan was ready to marry him. Every girl wants to be treated like a princess and Mayank was doing a good job in that respect. He did his homework while watching hindi movies😆

2> Taking liberty on his life, getting him married to a devil.

Gunjan was put into a very sudden situation when Shayl showed the video that the whole misunderstanding was created by Seema/Sangeeta/Charu and get ready to become a bride. Wow, i would have said ...hold on...don't push me. Let me think. She should have said to Shayl that don't jump into conclusion that if the truth is out that I am going to forget everything right there because the hurt that Mayank gave to during the misunderstanding was lot more difficult to bear.

But Gunjan felt if Charu loves him so much then Mayank will be happy with her and then Seema chachi also wants that...then how can i think of myself. Let them all the happy. Her calculations were wrong. I don't think Shayl should have put a 18 year old into a situation like that. The marriage could have been broken and given the couple the time to patch up in their own time and terms.

3> Afterwards, continue to stay with them...

Shayl had promised Gunjan's mom and Gunjan cannot hurt Shayl but she should have kept a distance. Again I see Shayl's fault in this to a larger extent. She should understand that this is not possible for Mayank and Gunjan if they leave under the same roof.

What Crap!
I believe that a person can fall in & out of love a hundred times or how much ever they want. 1st love does not mean that your life just stops if its not meant to happen. What if you are seperated from your 1st love due to some reason? Should you just stop living? Stop people knocking your heart, even if you feel something special for someone?
Just stop loving & living?

If your 1st love is not worth it, why spoil your happiness over them?
What is important is that its true unconditional love between 2 people who know they love each other a lot & will try to work things out between them if there are differences or ego clashes. Doesn't matter if its with your 1st or 100th Love. The heart wants what it wants, you just can't stop living coz you were supposedly unsuccessful with your 1st love. This is strictly my personal opinion, no offence intended to anyone :D

Yes, IMO Mayank & 3 things you mentioned are definately 3 mistakes of Gunjan's Life (I love this novel)
The biggest one being staying in the same house as him. This is what is stopping her from moving on from her "1st Love"
Just get out from the mad house & everything will be great for Gunjan as well as the Gargs. The other 2 have low chances of redemption but she can surely work on the 3rd mistake & I hope she does so :P
