Ash's on screen brother in Bidaai
Vimarsh Roshan, who played Ash's brother Jamaal in J.P.Dutta's Umrao Jaan, will now be seen on the small screen as a bad man in Rajan Shahi's Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai.
About his role in his debut serial, Vimarsh tells us, "I'm playing the main negative lead Naveen Rajvansh. My character will change shades gradually. My eye is on the Rajvansh property and I will tactfully take over the business. I will also be torturing Sadhna after her marriage in the Rajvansh family. Sadhna will come to know of Naveen's truth but she will be under pressure."
According to the actor, "The concept of the show is very unique and very different from family dramas. Moreover the idea looks very real and that's the reason the show has become popular."
Speaking about working with Ash in Umrao Jaan, he says, "She is very humble and down to earth. I still remember I was preparing for my first take and was seated at the corner of the set. She came near me and asked, 'Hi… may I know your name. "She did not show any attitude and was very inspirational. She never used to be satisfied with the first take and used to rehearse my dialogues also. I am going to implement everything I learnt from her in Bidaai."
It is said that Ash-Abhi's relationship took a romantic turn on the sets of this film. Did he notice anything? "I really can't say much but yes Abhishek used to be present on the sets when mine and Ash's scenes were being shot. They used to come together and have fun on the sets. This was the beginning I guess and the rest is history."
Vimarsh Roshan was in top 6 in Grasim Mr. India 05 and has done many T.V. commercials for ICICI, Pennzoil, Bank Of Baroda.
