It was tuesday evening and Ragini was in her room packing her clothes as Vineet and Malti were coming to pick her up to stay at their house till the wedding as per the ritual that bride cannot be with her husband before marriage. Everyone else in the house were also doing preparations; Vasu and Inderjeet were sending out invitations, Sakshi was instructing the decorators, and Alekh was dealing with catering people. It was 5 pm now and Anmol had walked in the room and was surprised to see Ragini packing her clothes as he was unaware of what was going on. He slowly walked up to her by the bed and took off his jacket.

Anmol: Shaadi se pehle hi ghar se bhaagne ka iraada hai?

Ragini turned around to see him and smiled at his comment. She knew he was teasing her and she in return also gave a witty response.

Ragini: Aisi kismat kahan ke bhaagne ka mauka mil jaye, majbooran shaadi karni pad rahi hai.

Anmol smiled back at her witty response and was glad to see that she was really happy.

Ragini: Mazaak kar rahi thi, voh kya hai abhi bhaiya aur bhabhi mujhe lene aa rahe hain, main shaadi tak wahi rehne waali hoon.

Anmol's smile disappeared after hearing Ragini's statement as she wouldn't be around him.

Anmol (stuttering): Lekin kyun? Mera matlab kisne kaha?

Alekh just walked in their conversation and he smiled at Anmol's reaction.

Alekh: Maa ne yeh decide kiya hai aur waise bhi shaadi ki reet ke mutaabik dulha dulhan shaadi se pehle saath nahi reh sakte.

Ragini smiled at Anmol's reaction as well as she wasn't expecting Anmol to be sulking on her absence for few days. He must love her a lot, thought Ragini to herself.

Alekh: Koi baat nahi Anmol sirf do din ki baat hai. Ragini, main tumhe bataane aaya tha ki neeche bhaiya aur bhabhi aa gaye hain, jaldi aa jao neeche.

Ragini: Jee jija ji, bas abhi aayi.

Anmol took a glance at her and signalled to her proceed to walk downstairs as he carried her bag. They walked downstairs; Ragini hugged Vineet and Malti whereas Anmol greeted them as well.

Vasu: Acha Tammy tum yeh batao ki tum yahan rahoge yaan apni mumma ke saath jaoge?

Anmol: Tammy, aap mere saath rahiye yahan par, waise bhi apki mumma jaa rahi hain to mujhe company dene ke liye koi to hona chahiye, nahi?

He said this while looking at Ragini stating that she is leaving her alone so atleast Tammy should stay with her and Ragini understood what he was really trying to indicate.

Tammy: Theek hai papa, main aur khushi aapke saath yahan rahenge.

Khushi: Haan partner aur hum khoob masti karenge

Anmol: Bilkul, bacha party aur waise bhi apki mumma humain masti nahi karne dengi.

Malti: Acha Anmol Ji, hum abh chalte hain, ghar pe maa aur bauji intezaar kar rahe hain.

Vineet: Ragini tune sabh samaan le liya na ache se?

Ragini: Jee bhaiya.

Ragini kissed Tammy and Khushi and told them to take care of themselves; took blessings from Vasu and Inderjeet. Anmol just smiled at her and she smiled back while leaving the house. Anmol took kids and Gunni to the movies later on and on other side at Sharma house, Ragini hugged her maa and bauji. They were elated to see her and moreover they were rejoicing at the fact that she is getting married again to Anmol. Ragini was now in her room and she strangely found herself missing Anmol's presence around her. It was now 9 pm and Ragini was laying in her bed and she decided to call Anmol to ask about Tammy and Khushi whether they ate or not. Anmol and kids on the other hand were laying in bed and he was narrating them a bed time story. His phone rang and his face glowed with smile after seeing Ragini's name on the screen.

Anmol: Hello, Ragini. Itni jaldi humain kaise yaad kiya apne?

Ragini (smiled): Maine socha ki phone karke pooch loon ki bachon ne kuch khaya ache se ke nahi?

Anmol: Bilkul, main bachon ko cartoon movie dikhane le gaya tha aur Gunni bhi saath thi aur phir humne bahar se hi kuch kha liya. Aur abh voh dono mere pass hi haan, unhe kahani sunaa raha tha. Ek minute baat karwata hoon.

Anmol: Tammy, khushi yeh lo Ragini ko goodnight wish karo.

Tammy: Goodnight, mumma. I love you.

Ragini: Goodnight beta, mumma loves you too.

Khushi: Goodnight maasi maa, love you.

Ragini: Goodnight Khushi, maasi maa loves you too.

Anmol: Abh meri goodnight wish?

Ragini (blushed): Good night, Anmol Ji.

Anmol: Goodnight to you too, bye.

Ragini: Bye.

They both hung up and were smiling at their conversation; Anmol kissed Tammy and Khushi and soon went to sleep as well. Ragini on the other hand also slept with a smile on her face. Next morning, Anmol got up and woke up kids as well as they had to go to school. Few minutes later, Sakshi walked in the room as she came to check up on the kids.

Sakshi: Good morning, bhaiya.

Anmol: Are sakshi tum, aao andar. Koi kaam tha?

Sakshi: Nahi main to bachon ko ready karne aayi thi; aap Tammy ki uniform mujhe de dijiye main dono ko tayar karti deti hoon aur phir apko bhi to office jana hai

Anmol: Jee main abhi vohi soch raha tha ki Ragini to yahan hai nahi, acha hua aap aa gayi. Thanks.

Anmol gave her the uniform and kids followed Sakshi in her room while Anmol went to take shower. Sakshi was dresssing up the kids downstairs and Alekh saw her as he was passing by. He noticed how she has really changed and taking care of kids really nice and especially Khushi. She was also very happy with her, he smiled and left. On the other hand, Ragini got ready and went to the kitchen to help Malti with the breakfast.

Ragini: Good morning maa, good morning bhabhi.

Malti: Good morning, Ragini. Are par tu yahan kya kar rahi hai, main chai le aati upar

Ragini: Nahi voh maine socha neeche aake apki naashte ke liye madad kardoon

Kaushalya: Are nahi hum sabh karlenge, tu bahar baith araam kar aur waise bhi tu do ke liye to aayi hai.

Malti: Haan aur parso teri shaadi hai, shaadi se pehle bhi koi kaam karta hai kya.

Just then Bauji came and told her that her cell phone was ringing upstairs.

Malti: Anmol ji ka hi phone hoga, jaa sunle.

Ragini smiled at her commenta and went upstairs. She saw her phone and malti was right as it was missed call from Anmol. Anmol on the other hand was struggling to find his stuff as he wasn't used to all this because Ragini used to do that in the morning. She would pick his clothes and lay them out on the bed, his watch, wallet, keys, etc so that he doesn't have to spend time looking for it. Ragini called him back and Anmol picked up the phone while staring at his closet, unaware of what to do.

Ragini: Apne phone kiya tha, voh main neeche kitchen main thi bhabhi ke saath to phone upar kamre main tha, isliye utha nahi paayi.

Anmol: Ragini, aap yahan nahi hain to sabh kaam kharab ho gaya

Ragini: Kyun kya hua? Bache tayar ho gaye?

Anmol: Haan Sakshi ne unhe tayar kar diya, voh neeche breakfast kar rahe hain. Thank god warna mujhe to samaj hi nahi aata kuch. Lekin abh mujhe mera samaan nahi mil raha.

Ragini: Apke hangers main front pe shirt ironed hongi, un main se koi bhi pehan lijiye aur aapka suit right side pe hai. Apka wallet, watch, aur hankerchief right drawer main hain. Mila?

Anmol was surprised how she knows everything by just sitting there and he couldn't find it even after staring at the closet. He was carrying everything in his hands and held his phone by the ear, struggling to talk and he dropped his shirt on the floor.

Anmol: Haan Ragini, mil gaya sabh kuch. Oho yeh shirt.......phir se iron karni padegi.

Ragini: Lekin shirt to already ironed thi na

Anmol: Jee thi to sahi lekin voh maine sabh kuch ek saath pakda to shirt thodi si wrinkled ho gayi. Main abhi iron kar leta hoon, ek minute. Sach main, kuch nahi ho sakta mera to.

Ragini was smiling hearing him do all this and struggling to even find his clothes and get ready.

Anmol (mumbling): Abh yeh iron kahan hai.....

Ragini: Bed ke left side ke drawer main hogi, dekhiye.

Anmol: Aaha got it, thank you.

He was ironing his shirt while talking to Ragini on the phone and being in hurry he didn't pay attention as to where the iron was and it slightly touched his left hand.

Anmol: Ouch!

Ragini (panicked): Kya hua? Anmol Ji, aap theek to hain?

Anmol: Voh zara si iron haath ko lag gayi. I am fine.

Ragini: Anmol ji, aap phone rakhiye aur jaldi se haath thande paani main rakhiye yaan Guddi se kehkar ice mangwa lijiye.

Anmol: Nahi theek hai, abhi theek ho jayega. Acha abh main rakhta hoon, baad main baat karunga aapse. And thank you for all the help.

Ragini: Isme thank you ki koi zaroorat nahi hai, agar main wahan hoti tabh bhi to main hi yeh sabh karti. Bachone ke school ka time ho raha hai, aap naashta karke jaayiga.

Anmol: Okay sure, bye.

Ragini: Bye.
