PART 14
The sun made its way in their room, signifying new day and new beginning in their lives. Ragini woke up rubbing her eyes when she saw Anmol sleeping next to him. She traced back yesterday's activities and the conversation they had last night; how he confessed his love. She smiled to herself and removed the blanket to get up. After taking shower, she dressed up wearing a green sari. She went to check up on the kids in their room.
Ragini: Are Sakshi aap? Main abhi inhe jagaane aayi thi.
Sakshi: Good morning, di. Haan maine socha aap araam kar rahi hongi to main hi aa jati hoon.
Tammy: Good morning, munmmy!
Khushi: Good morning, maasi maa!
Ragini: Good morning my angels ( she kissed them both)
Sakshi: Chalo beta, breakfast ready hai. Didi aap bhi aayiye.
Ragini: Sakshi aap bachon ko lekar chaliye, main Anmol ko dekhkar aati hoon ki voh uthe hain ki nahi.
Sakshi: Ji didi theek hai.
Kids followed Sakshi downstairs and Ragini went back to her room to check up on Anmol. He was not there on the bed so he must be in the shower, she thought. She fixed the blanket and the bedsheet. After few minutes, he came outside and smiled at Ragini who smiled back at him. His morning couldn't have a better start.
Anmol: Good Morning, Ragini. Aap to kafi pehle hi tayar ho gayi.
Ragini: Haan voh main tayar hokar bachon ko dekhne gayi thi, voh Sakshi ke saath breakfast kar rahe hain neeche. Main aapki wait kar rahi thi.
Anmol: Bacha party bhi jaldi uth gayi aaj to, chaliye main bhi ready hoon.
Ragini and Anmol both walked together downstairs, Vasu was happy to see them together. They took blessing from Vasu & Inderjeet. Alekh also wished them and Anmol kissed Tammy and Khushi. Gunni winked at Anmol. He smiled back at her. Ragini and Anmol sat next to each other; they all were chatting on the breakfast table.
Gunni: Chachu to aap chachi ko kahan ghumaane le jaa rahe hain?
Anmol and Ragini looked at each other knowing what was Gunni trying to get at.
Vasu: Haan Anmol tum aur Ragini kuch dino ke liye kahin ghoom kyun nahi aate.
Inderjeet: Are Anmol humari jo Dubai main meeting hai kuch hi hafton main, to tum Ragini ko bhi saath le jaana. Kaam bhi ho jayega aur tum dono ki outing bhi.
Anmol: Lekin Alekh bhaiya wahan to aap jane wale the naa.
Alekh: Haan koi baat nahi, tum aur Ragini chale jana. Shaadi tumhari huyi hai bai meri nahi.
Everyone laughed at his comment. Anmol and Ragini looked at each other; Ragini blushing. Everyone left the table now except Gunni, Anmol, and Ragini.
Anmol: Gunni mujhe samaj nahi aata apke dimag main aise ideas kahan se aate hain.
Ragini: Romantic novels padkar aur kahan se.
Gunni gave them a sheepish smile for bringing the idea iof honeymoon at breakfast table.
Ragini: Anmol mujhe lagta hai ki abh Gunni ki bhi shaadi kar deni chahiye, nahi?
Anmol: Haan.... yeh idea bilkul sahi hai, Ragini.
Gunni: Are nahi nahi mujhe nahi karni koi shaadi waadi.
Ragini: Acha ji abh apni baari aayi to shaadi nahi karni.
Anmol: Main baat karta hoon mummy se, phir Gunni tum nahi mana kar payogi.
Ragini: Aur ladke ki chinta aap mat karna, hum dhoond lenge.
Gunni: Uffo chachi, aap to mere peeche hi pad gaye aur ladka dhoondne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. Anmol: Oho kahin koi hero dhoond to nahi liya apne novels ke hero jaisa?
Gunni: Chahu aap bhi naa bas....
She nodded her head and walked away smiling. Anmol and Ragini were smiling at Gunni as they teased her and somehow that worked to make her quiet.
Ragini: Anmol, kahin Gunni wakya hi to nahi kisi ko pasand karti.
Anmol: Umm pata nahi lekin I am sure agar koi aisi baat hogi to voh humain zaroor batayegi.
Ragini: Jee theek kaha aapne.
Anmol: Vaise yeh Gunni ki baat kaise aa gayi, baat to himari chal rahi thi na.
Ragini blushed and smiled knowing that he was referring to the conversation earlier about their trip. Suddenly they both heard someone screaming, Anmol quickly got up from his chair and both him and Ragini went to see what happened. Everyone else also came out of the rooms and the voice was coming from Sakshi's room. Alekh was helping her to stand up as she was screaming with pain; perhaps it was labour pain.
Vasu: Kya hua Alekh?
Alekh: Pata nahi mumma, achanak Sakshi ko dard hone laga.
Vasu: Par abhi to time hai na delievery main?
Ragini: Mummy Ji, humain Sakshi ko hospital le jana chahiye, wahan chalkar hi pata chalega ki kya situation hai.
Gunni: Chachu aap gaadi nikaliye, main aur chachi lekar aate hain inhe.
Anmol and Alekh rushed to the car while Gunni, Ragini slowly took Sakshi to the car.
Ragini: Gunni aap ghar par bachon ka khayal rakhiye, main wahan pahunch kar phone kardoongi aapko.
Gunni: Jee chachi aap tension na lein, main yahi hoon Tammy aur Khushi ke saath.
Inderjeet, Vasu, and Ragini went in other car following Anmol and Alkeh. They reached the hospital and Inderjeet quickly called the doctor; they took Sakshi in the operation theatre.
Doctor: Humne unhe admit kar liya hai, yeh labour pain hi hai.
Vasu: Lekin doctor abhi to deleivery ke liye waqt tha na
Doctor: Jee pehle tests ke mutabik normal deleivery hi thi lekin yeh premature deleivery case hai.
Everyone was waiting in the corridor. It was 1 in the afternoon now and doctor came out of the operation theatre.
Doctor: Bache ke papa kaun hain?
Everyone looked around and they were all quiet as they knew that it was Tarun's child. No one spoke up and finally Alekh went upto the doctor and said "Jee main hoon, kahiye". Everyone was shocked at his statement especially Vasu.
Doctor: Congratulations, beta hua hai.
Ragini had smile on her face and she breathed a sigh of relief. Anmol smiled at her.
Doctor: Bas hum Sakshi ko normal ward main shift kardein phir aap sabh usse mil sakte hain aur bache se bhi.
Saying this she left and Alekh stood there staring at Vasu.
Vasu: Alekh, yeh tumne kya kaha doctor se. Tum jaante ho na humne Sakshi ko sirf uski delievery tak yahan rehne ki permission di thi.
Alekh: Mumma main jaanta hoon lekin aap hi sochiye ki Sakshi abh kahan jayegi aur bache ke saath. Maana ki Sakshi jo bhi kiya galat tha lekin mumma abh to sachayi sabh ke saamne hai aur Sakshi bhi Tarun se nafrat karti hai. Jo bhi hua us main is bache ka kya kasoor hai? Jab humari shaadi huyi thi tab main normal nahi tha par abh sabh kuch mere samne hai aur main yeh kaise bhool jau ki voh Khushi ke liye uski choti maa hai. Main Sakshi ko apna raha hoon Khushi ki khaatir aur us bache ki khaatir jise main apna naam doonga.
Inderjeet: Vasu, Alekh theek keh raha hai. Jo bhi hua use bhool jao aur Sakshi ko bhi apni galti ka ehsaas hai. Aur tum khushi ke baare main bhi to socho, voh pehle hi ek baar apni maa ko kho chuki hai, abh phirse usse uski choti maa se door mat karo.
Ragini and Anmol also convinced her that it is best for everyone to accept Sakshi and the child. Doctor came out and brought the baby and placed him in Alekh's lap. Alekh looked at him with glowing eyes and kissed his forehead. Inderjeet also hugged the baby forgetting that he isn't Alekh's real son. Ragini lifted the baby and played with him while Anmol kissed him. Ragini went upto Vasu and placed the baby in her lap. Vasu looked at his innocence face, his small hands, and she coudn't stop herself to kiss his forehead. Everyone smiled at her behaviour. Vasu handed the baby back to Ragini and she walked upto Alekh and carrassed his face.
Vasu: Tumne is bache ko aur Sakshi ko apna kar sahi faisla kiya, Alekh.
She hugged Alekh who was elated to see Vasu accept this decision while everyone else looked at them smilingly. Doctor told them that they can meet Sakshi. Everyone walked inside and Sakshi saw Alekh walking inside holding the baby.
Inderjeet: Congratulations, beta.
Ragini: Beta hua hai, Sakshi aapko bahut bahut badhaayi ho.
Sakshi was little quiet knowing that Vasu wouldn't let her stay with them anymore and sensing her queries, Ragini explained everything to Sakshi and Vasu assured her that she has accepted her and the kid. Sakshi was crying thinking that she is lucky to have family as such who took so much care of her despite all that she did to them. Everyone went outside to let Sakshi rest a little and doctor said that she will be discharged later on around 7-8 pm. Alekh was in the room only playing with the baby.
Sakshi: Alekh Ji, main apka kaise shukriya ada karoon. Itna sabh kuch hone ke bawajood bhi apne mujhe aur mere bache ko apnaaya.
Alekh: Sakshi, mana ke tumne acha nahi kiya par tumne bhi voh sabh Tarun ke kehne par kiya tha aur usne tumhe dhokha diya. Hum sabh ke liye yehi kafi hai ki tumhe apni galti ka ehsaas hai aur iska saboot hai tumhara pyaar Khushi ke liye. Voh tumhe apni choti maa maanti hai aur main nahi chahta ki Khushi phirse apni maa ko kho de, ise tum mera sawarth kaho te yehi sahi. Tum Sadhana ki jagah to nahi le sakti par apni ek alag jagah is parivaar main bana sakti ho aur waise is sabh main is bache ka kasoor nahi hai isiliye maine ise apna naam diya hai.
Sakshi: Main aapse waada karti hoon, Alekh ji ki main Khushi ko maa ka poora pyaar doongi aur poori koshish karungi ke ek achi bahu aur patni bhi ban saku.
Ragini had called Sharma family earlier and they came over to the hospital to see Sakshi and the baby. They were happy to know that Vasu and Alekh accepted Sakshi in the family along with the baby. Malti brought food for everyone and they all ate while Ragini fed Sakshi.
Ragini: Anmol, aap ghar par Gunni ko phone karke bata dijiye ki hum Sakshi ko lekar ghar aa rahe hain thodi der main, voh tension le rahi hongi aur poochiye bachon ne khana khaya yaan nahi.
Anmol: Jee Ragini main abhi baat karta hoon.
Ragini went inside to pack Sakshi's stuff and get her medicines as the doctor instructed her while Anmol called home.
Anmol: Hello, Gunni.
Gunni: Hi, Chachu. Chachi kaisi hain abh?
Anmol: Chachi bilkul theek hain aur ek good news hai. Sakshi gave birth to a baby boy
Gunni: Oh wow, thats a great news Chachu.
Anmol: Bachon ne kuch khaya?
Gunni: Jee Chachu, hum sabh ne dinner kar liya. Aap sabh kabh aa rahe ho ghar?
Anmol: Bas kuch hi der main Sakshi ko discharge kar rahe hain aur hum sabh ghar aa rahe hain.
Gunni: Okay Chachu, will wait for all of you. Bye.
Anmol: Bye
Malti and Ragini slowly brought Sakshi outside and took her outside to the car while Alekh held the baby. Ragini sat in front with Anmol who was driving while Alkeh was sitting at the back with the baby and Sakshi. Inderjeet and Vasu left in the other car; Sharma family left directed to their house. After half an hour, they reached home and Gunni opened the door. She hugged and congratulated Sakshi and Alekh. She held the baby boy and kissed him. Khushi and Tammy came too and they looked at the baby.
Tammy: Mummy yeh kaun hai?
Ragini: Beta, yeh khushi ka chota bhai.
Khushi: Papa, mujhe bhi dekhna hai.
Alekh bent down and both Tammy and Khushi looked at him smilingly. Ragini instructed Gunni to take the kids in the room as its time for them to sleep. She took Sakshi in the room and laid her down on the bed. Alekh was sitting next to Sakshi playing with the baby. Vasu and Inderjeet also went to sleep. Ragini and Anmol kissed Tammy and Khushi goodnight and went to their room.
Ragini: Jija ji ne bahut acha faisla kiya Sakshi ko aur bache ko apna kar.
Anmol: Jee bilkul aur usse bhi achi baat yeh ki mummy ji bhi maan gaye.
Ragini: Haan, sabh kuch theek ho gaya aur waise us masoom se bache se mummy ji zayada der naraaz nahi reh paati.
Ragini was feeling hungry as she realized she didn't eat at the hospital as she was busy with Sakshi.
Ragini: Anmol, aap change kar lijiye main zara neeche kitchen se hokar aati hoon.
Anmol: Kyun kuch chahiye aapko?
Ragini: Haan voh bhookh lagi hai mujhe to....
Anmol: Are aap kamaal kar rahi hain, aapne wahan hospital main khana nahi khaya. Aap yahan rukiye, main lekar aata hoon apke liye kuch.
Ragini: Are nahi nahi main le aati hoon; wahan hospital main mauka hi nahi mila.
Anmol: Ragini, aap subah se bhaag daud kar rahi hain. Aap fresh ho jayiye, main tabh tak kuch lekar aata hoon.
He left without listening anything else from Ragini while Ragini stood there smiling thinking how much he cared and his instant reaction when she told him that she didn't eat earlier. She went to change while Anmol was downstairs in the kitchen preparing something for Ragini. After few minutes, he walked inside with a tray in his side. Ragini came out of shower and she was wiping her hair. Anmol was just gazing at her as how beautiful she looked with wet hair. Ragini turned around to see him with a tray in his hand.
Anmol: Yeh lijiye madam, aapke liye sandwiches aur garma garam coffee.
Ragini smiled at him and took the tray from his hand. They both sat on bed and Anmol was waiting for her to eat.
Ragini: Aap nahi lenge?
Anmol: Nahi mujhe bhookh nahi hai. Aap khaiye, I am sure itne bhi bure nahi honge.
Ragini smiled and took first bite of the sandwich and looked at him. Anmol was confused whether she liked it or not.
Anmol: Kya hua, ache nahi hain?
Ragini: Nahi, balki bahut ache hain. Apko cooking aati hai?
Anmol: Are main apne hostel main sabhse top ka cook tha, infact mere dost kaha karte the ki mujhe business management chodkar chef banna chahiye.
Ragini: Sahi kaha tha unhone, wakya bahut ache bane hain sandwiches
Anmol: Well I am glad you liked them, waise to abh businessman ban gaya hoon par aapke liye chef ban sakta hoon.
Ragini smiled and blushed at his comment while eating. After having delicious sandwiches and hot cup of coffee, she was extremely tired. Anmol turned the light off and they both went to sleep after wishing each other good night.
